Old property trying to be promoted as conserved but it’s not going to be that side . Owner is good and helpful . Resolve your queries quickly . Location is good …all popular place are around. But it’s difficult to reach from airport and railway stations…all credit goes to local traffic management. Food is good …more options must be added in the menu .pls remove daily point system 😂

Is this the worst hotel in Varanasi? Probably not. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. The rooms were unclean, with stains on the walls and dirt and hair on the floor from previous guests. The bedding even had a suspicious white stain 👀. The staff were friendly, but when it came time to check out and pay for the tours we booked, we were told that card payments weren’t accepted—even though the owner had a card machine on his desk and accepted it when we paid for the room. On the plus side, the bathrooms in the two adjacent rooms had a gap where the wall met the ceiling, allowing my friend and I to share some unexpectedly touching moments as we simultaneously emptied our bowels. 🥰

This is very basic accommodation in Varanasi. There was very loud construction work going on during our stay which was a rather annoying 7am wake up call every morning. That aside, the rooms are small and for some reason there is a hole in the ceiling between each bathroom so if you value privacy then maybe look elsewhere. You will hear everything that goes on in next door's bathroom, and they'll hear you. The location is good, although expect to walk a lot as taxis and tuktuks don't often come to the front door. Not entirely sure why as they can navigate the surrounding streets, ours did on one occasion, but more often than not we had to walk to a very busy main road and wait 10 minutes or so for a taxi. The owner said something about it being a festival. But that didn't seem to stop anyone else from driving around the immediate streets, just our drivers. 🤷🏻 Be wary when booking anything through the hotel. Do research first. We booked a sunset Ganges boat through them with the sole reason being to see the evening ceremony from the river. When the boat was in the middle of the river we were told we couldn't see the ceremony and we were dumped on the shore and made to make our own way to it. We ended up with a terrible view while others could be seen watching from boats. When this was raised with the hotel, it was brushed aside and I was told "of course you can't see the ceremony from the boat. That finishes at 1830 and the ceremony starts at 1900", ignoring the fact we requested the ceremony at the time of arranging the boat. For some reason the owner won't accept card payment for any tours/cars booked, but will take room payment by card. This was also not told to us in advance so it was a nice surprise at check out having to fork out all our remaining Rupees. They did organise a driver for us one day to go to Sarnath, which was fine, although we waited ages for it on the busy main road and the hotel owner seemed to call the driver on our return demanding he hurry up. Not sure why, we were having a nice chat with him and enjoying our day. In any event it's probably best to shop around and see if you can get a lower price elsewhere. Both the boat and driver were 3k each. The only real saving grace was the staff who were very attentive and couldn't be more helpful.

Good room at decent price. Narrow roads to reach here. Not even this most all hotels in Varanasi. If you want e auto ,texi for airport or local sightseeing they provide you. Kashi Vishwanath 1.7 km from the hotel no Need to buy e rixa 10-15 mi walkable distance and from Kashi to Kal Bhairav 1 km that same route. Rooms are good .Nice facility. Old building make new and turn in to hotel. Food is okay. Good experience to stay here at good price.

Excellent stay,, if needed they arrange cab, boat , priest for rituals, overall excellent. I recommend for everyone for a wonderful and peaceful stay. The owner of this hotel is very humble and prompt. Thank you 😊 for making my job easy.

stayed there for three nights. good communication. the rooms were ok. but there were many things that were not great: 1. the location is difficult to reach especially for the drivers who don't know the gali in that area the cars do go in and out - but there can be construction work along the way and you may have to walk (as we did). 2. the soap and shampoo were given in extremely small sample bottles irrespective of the size of the room and number of people. 3. we asked for rs. 300 washing they had just folded our clothes wet. very poor service. 4. ants appeared all of a sudden in the front of ground floor room. the rooms are costly given the location, service, and others. ------ AC was working good. food (Banarasi Special) was particularly good.

Great Experience, I stayed with my family and we were greeted with warmth at the property! they delivered everything that was promised, even more than that they are great people representing "the culture of Banaras" they never disturb unless and until you ask them for some room service. Food provided to us was very tasty and hygienic. complementary breakfast was awesome!

Great stay - great host - as well good proximity to visit major places / temple / ghats nearby. Have personal parking. Staff members put all efforts to guide / serve - support. If luggage or personal car, staff comes up to Gondoliya Chowk and help / guide till the stay location. Good rooms though a bit small. But well maintained rooms , neat and clean. Good breakfast and tea. Enjoyed our stay. Value for money.
