Capital O 4535 Hotel Uma Palace

This is one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. I saw a lot of shady couples going in and out of the hotel rooms continuously … i even found a used condom in my washroom … the cleanliness level is filthy here … no doormats provided by the hotel and there was water seeping into the corridors of the property. To sum up my stay here i would like to say that it was my mistake that i booked this hotel… i felt terrible and i do not recommend this property to anyone.

This hotels needs improvement. Some rooms are spacious,(the ones towards the road) and the other are very small. In those rooms, there was no proper air circulation. As you enter the room you get that old and dampy smell. Carpet was not clean at all. They call it 3 Star hotel but it is not. Staff need proper training though they were polite. Hope management take the property seriously and improves.

After travelling for 5 weeks all over India we arrived in Varanasi and were very disappointed with our stay here. |The photos of the hotel aren’t correct. Our room was very worn, dusty, had stains on the bedding which was very wet from damp and the room smelt of damp quite badly. |The mirrors were stained (not even been wiped) and the toilet seat was dirty too, as was the wall by the toilet which we don’t even want to imagine what the stains were. ||There is construction going on in and near the hotel so there is lots of noise most of the day and until 11pm one night. ||There was dirty bedding piled up in the hallway and a phone ringing in the stock room on our floor almost constantly. ||The WiFi went off at 9:20 both nights which was a pain. The second night it came back on a little later after we called and complained. ||At one point a member of staff tried to come into our room. Luckily we had the safety catch on. Apparently it was a mistake but those mistakes shouldn’t happen. ||We bought bottles of water from the hotel which were warm as apparently they cannot refrigerate them... this made us worry about the food hygiene so therefore didn’t eat in their restaurant. ||All in all the reception staff and doorman were polite and the air conditioning worked but the hotel shouldn’t be charging the prices they are. If I’d paid 1,000 rupees I’d say our stay was acceptable at best but for over twice that I’d not recommend it to anybody. |We have stayed in places a third of the price that have received 5* reviews.

This Hotel offers great amenities at the best price. It has a great and polite staff. The food available in the restaurant is very nice(taste and quality) and I believe that the prices are somewhat reasonable. The Cleanliness of the room is wonderful and there were no compromises. Staff are available 24 hours to pick up the customers. The best thing is that food is offered in the restaurant till 3:00 AM and this can be a saviour for some hungry guests who arrive at Kashi lately. I loved my 2 day stay at Uma Palace completely. I will be looking forward to check in again whenever I visit Varanasi. Cons: The one and only downside of this hotel is that it is a little far from the temple. But don't worry as you can find commute even at mid night too.

One of the worst hotel ever. My booking got cancelled at the last time.. was travelling with kids and extended family and it took us all by surprise. fortunately we got good rooms somewhere else. But the staff and the management acted in the utmost disgusting manner ever. Fab hotels were the real reason for such mayhem and I have made it a point to avoid booking there listed hotels as well. Keep away from such shady startups and hotels, stay safe.

This hotel is situated right behind hotel clarks in Cantonment. It's a cheap and clean place. Food is excellent. People are cooperative and staff is helpful. We took a room for 3 adults. They accommodated my 8 year old without any cost. Room is a basic but large.. clean. No balcony.|Washroom with nice shower. TV without HD channels. Clean towel and basic toiletries were provided. They even helped us getting some purchases too.

Not happy with this hotel. Service is very late. In Bathroom Shower not working, also the pressure in washbasine tap is very strong. You can wet yourself while washing your hands. No floor mats provided by the hotel in room. After using washroom you have to walk out qith wet foot in the room and the room become wet and dirty. This is my seconf visit to this hotel but this time I was not happy with the hotel. Also in breakfast very limited item served and also the service here is very very slow.

Price wise it's an affordable hotel in this zone as rest are almost x1.5 times. Rooms are big, however they turned off the AC completely in Winters, and these rooms gets hotter at night. Service is also good, their breakfast is okay type.
