Location of hotel is good, at walking distance from Banke Behari Temple. Rooms are moderate, and price is a bit high. Staffs are cordial and helpful. Food at restaurant is good.

Even though furniture looks outdated, the hotel staff compensates for the lack of it. Service is good, food is exceptionally good. The vicinity of this property to Banke Bihari temple(a major attraction) makes it worth staying here. Few cons are: Barricades on both sides i.e. Vidyapith Chauraha and Next to Gurudwara/Krishna Parking makes it tough for people to reach when they are travelling with parents and luggage. You won't regret the stay though.

Hotel The Shubham is in a very prime location with 5 minutes walk to the main Bake Bihari temple. The rooms are clean with hygienic washrooms. The staff is helpful and reviewed our AC at mid night when we wanted to check on cooling.

Reaching the place in one's own car is difficult. Rooms were painted nicely but bathroom western closet was old. Bathroom had trickling hot water. Shower was rusted. Bathroom was in general too bad. No point in having the outside of hotel painted when inside it is dirty. I would advice all to stay 5 kms away from Vrindavan and go to the temples in autos or rickshaws . Most temples here don't have a place to keep your chappals. So it might be better to walk in some old slippers .
