Fortune Walkway Mall, Haldwani - Member ITC Hotels’ Group

Title: Disappointed by Service – Not Up to ITC Standards We stayed at Fortune Walkway Mall, Haldwani, expecting a premium experience, especially since it’s marketed as one of the best 4-star hotels in the area under the ITC group. Unfortunately, the service did not match the reputation. Let’s start with the good—the food quality was genuinely impressive. Every dish we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. However, the service experience left a lot to be desired. We had to call three times just to get our luggage delivered to the room, and even twice for food service, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. To make matters worse, plates were never sent to the room even after repeated requests. During our stay, a bhajan group arrived at the hotel, and it seemed like all the attention of the staff shifted to them. Regular guests were left waiting while the staff seemed preoccupied elsewhere. The bathroom cleanliness was also below par—the sink sides had visible red stains and needed proper scrubbing. For a hotel associated with the ITC brand, such negligence reflects poorly. Overall, while the food was a plus, the lack of basic service and cleanliness brings a bad name to the Fortune and ITC brands. A hotel that charges premium rates should at least ensure prompt service and clean facilities.

Had an amazing short trip with friends at Hotel Fortune in Haldwani, July 2025! The hotel exceeded our expectations with its comfort and hospitality. Special shoutout to Nasir and Rohit from the restaurant staff - their service was top-notch! Friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Hotel Fortune for a quick getaway with friends!"

Had a wonderful stay at Walkway Fortune Haldwani! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was courteous and always ready to help. Special mention to Kamal in the dining area—his service was excellent and made every meal more enjoyable. The food was delicious and the ambiance relaxing. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay!

The property was excellent, in all terms. The rooms were clean as was the entire property. The food was excellent and the best was their staff, reception, housekeeping and the restaurant. Special mention for Kamal and Udit at the restaurant. The Ragi dosa was probably the best that we have had in a while.

Hotel stay was comfortable. The view from my room was great, mountains were in clear line of sight. I would like to specifically appreciate the housekeeping staff. My interaction was mainly with Yash, highly professional and caring guy. Keep up the good work. Kudos to the manager who instills these qualities in the team.

we were treated to an extraordinary level of service and comfort. We stayed at Fortune Haldwani for our anniversary, and it was nothing short of magical. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. A special mention to Mr Mohit Chauhan , at the zodiac restaurant who arranged a surprise dessert on our table — such a thoughtful touch! Our room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed, with stunning views . Housekeeping was prompt and discreet, maintaining a high standard throughout our stay. We dined at Rood top also inside the hotel, and the experience was world-class — the food was delicious . The breakfast buffet was equally impressive, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the city, but honestly, we didn’t want to leave the property! I highly recommend Fortune Haldwani to anyone seeking a truly luxurious and memorable experience. We’re already planning our return!
