Hotel Highland by DLS Hotels

Hotel is far from mall road which makes it extra costly if you don’t have a personal vehicle and inconvenient for longer stays at mussoorie because you would want to spend extra time at mall road. We booked a premium room with balcony, so expectations were of a good stay. But it was not anything like that. The mattress is very hard so we had to ask them to give us extra mattresses on top of it which usually are not preferable. Room floor was creaking. Washroom door was kinda in its last stages. Bathroom glass separator door was non functional. Some part of tap and soap dispenser was falling when using. Service was good. View was good. Overall, it does not meets the expectations even nearly when you are paying so much.

The rooms were clean and the service and food was good. The staff are friendly and courteous. The challenge is if you visit India groups, the tempo traveller cannot go up to the reception, and it's a not easy for elderly to walk up and down to access your vehicle. Overall a nice place with a lovely courtyard.

Amazing property. Had a pleasant stay with a supportive staff. Kanika & Dev have been extra helpful during our check-in & check-out time. They made sure that we didn't had to face any trouble.

Highland Hotel offers a unique experience with its reception and main entry located on the 4th floor, providing stunning initial views of the surrounding area as you enter. The check-in process was smooth, with the reception staff being warm and attentive, ensuring a welcoming start to the stay. It was bit difficult to find the hotel and terrain is difficult for. Rooms are well-appointed, clean, and equipped with all essential amenities for a comfortable stay.

We are booked for 2 days, must suggest that room must be with balcony for the most iconic view of the mountains. If you have baby khichdi is available here and they also provide room service for baby free. All over very good experience, don’t forget to take High tea in evening.

Hotel service is very good, staff is very polite. Food is very testy. Hotel environment is good. Rooms are neat and clean. Reception service is good . Each staff service are very good. Peaceful location. Food was amazing and testy. Dinesh Chauhan good service

Entry road was too steep. Only god can save you from slipping. Do t ever bring your own car to this hotel since it's entrance is too steep to enter n exit by yourself. Rooms are very good. Room service is pathetic. Food is good. Costs about Rs 425 and 750 for breakfast n dinner buffet. Its worth it.

Firstly I will.mention what's good- 1) the view from hotel 2) small but decent rooms Now what's not good 1) the location- although it offers good view climbing the hotel is a task especially for the elderly people. 2) the food quality is bad 3 )They repeated the same sabji in breakfast and lunch also they run out of items. 4) the hotel staff takes a lot of time to respond. 5) it's not a 4 star property. Had stayed here in Feb 2024.
