Hotel Ambica Palace Mussoorie

I traveled from USA for a short trip to Mussoorie and stayed at this hotel. The location is fantastic, with a short travel time to reach and plenty of nearby attractions to explore, which is so important when you're traveling from far away. The staff was courteous, a special thanks to Bobby Verma, who was incredibly helpful and made sure my stay was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a visit!

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ambica Palace. The room was top-notch, clean, and well-maintained, making my stay extremely comfortable. Mr. Bobby went above and beyond, taking care of everything and assisting with any issues that arose. The hospitality was exceptional and made me feel right at home.His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction truly stood out. The best part is that all of this came at an affordable price. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Our recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We were a group of 9 adults who had booked 3 rooms for a 3-night stay, but from the moment we arrived, the service was abysmal. The receptionist was incredibly rude, condescending, and unhelpful. It felt like he had an ego problem and took pleasure in denying us even the most basic requests. Despite having multiple rooms booked, we were denied rooms together. We were also denied food, additional breakfast, cutlery at night, and shockingly, even water! To make matters worse, the showers in our rooms didn’t work, and there was no hot water available at night. We had to repeatedly ask for basic amenities, which was exhausting. For example, we requested a dental kit at the start of our stay but never received it by the time we checked out. The experience was so frustrating that it almost ruined our trip. The only silver lining was the owner, who stepped in to help with a few issues and was kind and understanding. Additionally, the rooms were spacious, but that’s about the only positive thing we can say. Overall, the lack of hospitality, poor service, and constant inconveniences make it impossible for us to recommend this hotel. Avoid it if you value your peace of mind during a trip.

This has been the worst experience I have faced at this hotel, where I booked a deluxe room. The door lock is not working. The room walls are stained with pan masala. The cleanliness of the bathroom is extremely poor. The bedsheets are dirty, and the towels provided are torn. Lastly, if you are traveling with a partner, be aware that some rooms do not have window curtains. This issue has not been resolved even after complaining, which raises concerns about privacy. Therefore, I recommend avoiding this hotel.

Disappointing Experience: Avoid This Hotel I recently stayed in this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The room was dirty, cramped, and poorly maintained. Bedsheets and blankets were stained and smelled awful. The food was subpar and not worth the money, hygiene standards were extremely low, with no proper cleaning or sanitation. The washroom was a nightmare—no water supply, dirty toilets, and broken fixtures. The room lacked basic amenities like an AC and a fan, making it unbearable. To top it all, the room was overpriced considering the pathetic conditions.The room was too expensive for such bad conditions. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay at Hotel Ambica Palace was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. The washroom was broken and unusable, causing a lot of inconvenience. To make things worse, the mattress and quilt were untidy and seemed unhygienic. Just the food was okay. If i haven’t paid in advance i would never stayed at the hotel. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's a decent place, this location is 1.2 km away from Mall Road. The room that we got was a family room with 2 queen size beds, along with a valley view. The view is good no doubt. The food is good, the staff is super friendly. The advantage of this location is that you have access to the general store, a small cafe and also you can get Scooty from nearby. We took a scooty from Nikhil Gupta, A decent well behaved person provided a good deal. We would recommend that you carry your Soap, brush, and toothpaste. Be aware of monkeys, they will come out of your room window. All in all if you are on a budget stay it's a good location.

Booked delux rooms for our stay of 3 nights. The only good part was view from room. Room was stinking and humid, service was pathetic.. bathroom was not clean including bucket etc...Have to ask for soap and towels etc basic needs multiple times. Food was good though but they forgot to prepare breakfast even after placing order. 15 mins walk from mall road
