Hotel Gangotri Plaza

After a horrific experience in a nearby hotel, we came across Gangotri Plaza whilst looking for a new hotel. What can I say, one of the best rooms we have stayed in during our time in India. Firstly, the staff are all very helpful and friendly, accommodating any requests we had and helping us get a last minute taxi. The room was very clean and modern, with some good ambient lighting and also a lot of natural light. It was equipped with a smart tv and decent shower. The bed was very comfortable, and the AC worked well. We also had a balcony, which was nice to relax on (watch out for the monkeys!). It's in an ideal location in Laxman Jhula, right in the middle of the "strip" of restaurants and shops, but far enough back to be super quiet at night. All in all, I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Laxman Jhula/Rishikesh! Thank you for a very pleasant stay 😊🙏

I stayed here for a day. The hotel is located in the close proximity of Laxman Jhula and in the middle of the surrounding market. The place has lost some charm due to the closure of Laxman Jhula, however remains a prime spot in Rishikesh. Ganga ghat is walkable and swarg ashram can be reached with the help of a shared taxi. The hotel provides neat and spacious rooms with big washrooms. Even though it is situated in a very narrow lane, it can be reached easily. Staff behaviour was particularly friendly and supportive. I will not mind staying here again.

This hotel is not on the main road and to reach there you will have to trek a little because the roads are slanting. Easily you can reach to the taxi stand to go to ram jhula, laxman jhula and many places. It is a nice hotel to stay in and affordable to . There is a big hall at top floor in which you can do functions or party by taking permission.

We Booked recently in end of May 2023. I was travelling with my senior citizen parents and with my 4 years old age daughter.. Staff Facilities were very good.. They were providing all the help when you ask.. For my daughter’s perspective, hotel staff prepared home food which was a great help for a mother.. Location is little bitt off, but would give 4 star for location. Rooms are very neat and clean.
