Ananta Residency

Bad rooms, no proper furnishing, hospitality is pathetic. The owner even declined the request for extra blanket on the first night of our stay in the property. Water taps were leaking constantly, no mirror in the washroom, no warddrobes in the room. No service to get food in the hotel or to heat the food even. For drinking water one needs to climb 2 floors every time. No facility of mineral water was provided.

Don’t go there. They don’t clean the room. I rent by booking and when I went there the room wasn’t ready after that they started to make the bed only bottom sheet. I left because I had an appointment and when I back the room still dirty all wet. Disgusting 🤢 if you want to save your time don’t go there.

We stayed nearly 2 months in ananta residency and it was hard to leave, it felt like home, the staff and the owners made us feel so comfortable, the rooms are big and have everything we needed! Always hot showers, very clean and neat, there's also room service that cleaned our room whenever we wanted. And the best part was the private chef that cooked breakfast and lunch for us, we are very picky with food so he was extremely considerate with our dietary requests. It is my 4th time in Rishikesh and really this place is the best I've ever been. Highly highly recommended!!!

It's been a while now since I stayed here with my child. It was a very precious experience. It feels like being in a big house with friends. Wonderful atmosphere . I always felt supported and cared for and also very safe. It is clean and the people who run this place, enjoy doing so. It also has a fitness/yoga room and a beautiful view from the roof. Will defenitely come back and recommend this place to people who plan to travel to this area.

I loved this place so much that I stayed there for six weeks. The staff are lovely and really cared about my experience, and they also created an environment that made me feel comfortable…Ananta became my home away from home. The location is perfect and within walking distance of all the cafes, yoga studios, and even a close walk to the ganga. The resident cook there honestly made the best Thali in Rishikesh…fresh and clean. Such a good place and terrific experience.

I spent from late afternoon to night for a hearty meal and entertainment in the terrace with amazing views. The food was healthy, tasty and plentiful. The hosts Preet and Ravi are amazing with their friends, provide homely atmosphere, warmth in this beautiful Rishikesh. The entertainment was awesome! I checked the rooms out and definitely would stay here. They are spacious, super clean and inviting. I have found an ideal place to stay for my next visit. Definitely recommend it!

Highly recommended place for short or long term stay. Located very close to Tapovan's main road, however relatively quiet and peaceful. Rooms are ample, comfortable and clean, at a top hostel standard (in-room TV, private bathrooms, WiFi). Preet and Ravi are excellent people who will go out of their way to help and ensure for you a pleasant stay. In-premises well equipped Yoga hall. The rooftop is nice for sitting and delicious home-made meals can be ordered (see picture). Nearby (up and around the small road) there are plenty of nice restaurants.

The owners Ravi and Preet are beautiful people I felt like home away from home . The rooftop is amazing to see the sunsets And the yoga shala great for your morning practice of you are lazy to go to other places in the morning. And last but not least Jay the all round guy that is there to help when in need . Very pleasant experience.!
