Well overall the experience was good. The hotel is very beautiful and rooms are clean. Manager is humble and the staff is very welcoming. Food is also good. They can also help you rent scooty. I had no issues with check in and check out.

Very bad experience in Tapovan hills hotel in rishikesh We booked for 01 night Location is very bad no transportation service available if you are coming with family so don't book this hotel Room was in very bad condition very small room according to price No cleanness in the room , in washroom so many ladies hair wash there , only one water bottle provided and one towel which was very dirty Privacy and security system is very bad , Someone at around 10.30 pm entered our room without knowing the door through the master key, we were sleeping and suddenly someone came to the room it was horrible. After every 15 min no electricity in room, in room telephone was not working properly. After explaining everything in to reception there is no certain change. Very pathetic

We booked this hotel through MakeMyTrip after looking at the photos and reviews, but our experience was disappointing. The hotel is located deep inside a narrow area where cars or autos can't reach – only a scooter can go there. MMT mentioned guaranteed early check-in and late check-out, but the hotel denied both. We understood this because it was a busy long weekend. Once we checked in, we were disappointed to see that the room was very small, had dampness on the walls, and smelled bad. We had booked a balcony room, but the view was just a construction site. Unless you book a higher category room, there’s no real benefit, and even then, I’d suggest choosing a better hotel for the price. They did change our room after we complained, but the problems remained. The swimming pool and dining area looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Also, the complimentary tea mentioned on MMT was also – they charged us for it. The interior design of the property is nice, but it seriously lacks good management.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff was polite and always ready to help. One of the best parts of my stay was the calm and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel also has a swimming pool where you can sit and enjoy the view, especially during sunrise or sunset. It’s a perfect spot for solo travelers, couples, or even families looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in Rishikesh. Would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Rishikesh!

We were highly disappointed with our recent stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was far below acceptable standards—stained walls, and an overall lack of upkeep made the experience quite unpleasant. We had booked a deluxe room, but it resembled an outdated executive room with worn-out furniture and poor lighting. Service was equally disappointing. Staff responsiveness was slow, and basic requests took far too long to be fulfilled. The receptionist, in particular, was unwelcoming and dismissive, acting as though she were doing us a favor rather than offering hospitality. I’m extremely disappointed with the level of service I’ve received. I’ve called reception five times requesting a water bottle, and instead of fulfilling such a basic request — something that’s included in the amenities I’ve paid for — I was told to come downstairs and fill it myself because the staff is “too busy.” When I tried to explain how unacceptable that is, the call was abruptly and rudely cut off. To make matters worse, I placed a food order for snacks over two hours ago, and it still hasn’t arrived. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable. I expect immediate action — this is not the standard of service I was promised or paid for. Worst hotel
