I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Divine Vanaprastha, a charming home stay in Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand, and I recommend it to one and all ! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by the Chef assigned by the owners. The location of the home stay is breathtaking, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and lush greenery. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, making us feel right at home. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the Chef Kishore (care taker assigned by the owners). He made all of us comfortable and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The home-cooked meals were delicious, showcasing the local flavors and fresh ingredients. Each meal felt like a special treat, and it was wonderful to experience the local cuisine. We also appreciated the personal touch and the insightful recommendations for nearby attractions and activities. Whether it was a scenic hike, a visit to the local market, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings, their suggestions added so much value to our trip. One of the best family vacations we had recently when we visited this place from 24 to 28 June . Although it's on top of a hill away from the city, there lies it's beauty in terms of the scenic beauty, the calmness and the proximity to nature we felt . The home is very esthetically built, all rooms are so beautifully and tastefully done . The caretaker Kishore ji, not only was a very good cook but was proactive in keeping us comfortable . The owner, Neeraj Pant ji, was constantly in touch with us and taking updates and suggestions . Strongly recommend families who love nature, wish to stay in a beautiful, quiet and secluded place .

Having had the pleasure to stay here recently, I can attest that it was a truly amazing experience. Accompanied by the spectacular natural beauty, the home-cooked meals, and the cool, refreshing mountain breeze all contributed to the peaceful, rejuvenating atmosphere. Certainly one of the best places to stay in Mukteshwar. I visited 2nd time in June and it has become my summer home. If you consider yourself to be a nature lover, you are gonna love this place from the time you park your car. The accomodation is simple yet luxurious. Absolutely clean and comfortable. The food is simply delicious and is served with a whole lotta of love by ever smiling caretaker kishore and will make sure you are well fed and looked after. There are plenty of treks and little hidden spots spread across the whole area. Make sure you spend at least 2 to 3 nights here. There are plenty of fruit trees and Village nearby to trek and have conversation with villagers. We didn't get chance to meet Host Neeraj but he made sure we reached safely and everything was at place. Thumbs up to the Divine Vanprastha for letting us experience your beautiful home.

It was a beautiful experience. The cottage is surrounded with beautiful views. The sun rise can be seen directly from window of the rooms. The care taker is very experienced and cooks yummy meals. He ensured that bonfire is ready whenever we returned back from excursions in evening. The owners helped us with everything - from sharing contact details of taxi driver to providing immediate help whenever contacted. This time I went with my friends but planning to visit soon with my family as well. Quiet place with beautiful scenic views - that’s The Divine Vanaprastha for me. 😊

Our staycation to vanprastha for our baby's second birthday was wonderful. Our family totally loved and cherished each and every moment we spent there during our 4 day stay. Property is extremely beautiful and well kept. Neeraj ji is a wonderful host, very helpfull and always available on call. Lawn was properly fenced and safe for my 2 year old. Kishore makes delicious food and ready to help you with everything you need. He even helped us in birthday decoration and also arranged cow's milk for our baby. Overall it was an amazing experience.
