Seeing some negative reviews here but I liked the hotel. The room could’ve been a little spacious but yet it was good. AC and TV was okay too and the location is highly convenient. The front of the hotel should be more noticeable. May be they are making a new signboard and that’s why the front of the hotel is dark (as given in the picture). However, it seems like they are renovating the hotel to make it a better one and so far they are doing good.

The worst hotel I have seen ever. The behavior of the manage was very bad. Very bad smell was everywhere. AC was not working properly and they didn't change the room after complain. Don't recommend al all

I have read the reviews and I'm so glad I didn't stay in this location. I was checking in with my daughter. I'm a U.S. citizen and my daughter is Nepali with us visa stamped.||The receptionist questioned the nationality of my daughter and stated that Nepal is part of India. Therefore she is Indian. In addition they cannot give us one room together for father and daughter to share. When I told them that she will stay with family, they insisted she cannot come to visit me in my room. They have draconian rules and laws in a country where bribe is entertained and the rule of law rarely observed. The receptionist staff seemed not to have passed HS or taken any geography lessons in her life. Nepal is a neighboring country and share a land border together. I've seen the rooms, and they are mediocre. The worst group of people are the reception staff. One rude bunch of people! My family lives in the neighborhood. We will make sure our guests don't go to Afreen Intetnational. It's not equipped to handle foreign tourists!

Worst service… the staffs are very rude … misbehaving is a common phenomenon… not recommended .. very upsetting service.. plz don’t go there …if u don’t agree with the rent they offer , they will humiliate your rudely. I’m very shocked at the behavior of the manager who was watching mobile and even don’t care to talk to me … how ever I rented it since I was in need of it… while checking out the manager with with goatly beard behave rudely

It's a good hotel to stay. I stayed 5 days here with my family. Environment is good and service is amazing. Moreover, it's a Clean residential hotel. Location is another attractive thing. It's a prime location. New Market is 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Park Street is same. All the facilities and services are available around the hotel. I'll suggest the hotel if you have budget around Rs 1500-1800. Geyser and AC available.

The hotel is perfectly located. If you are in Kolkata for shopping/touring historic places then this might be good choice. There are lots of food option around it along with plenty of currency houses who gives best rates. ||||Hotel does not have elevator. Staffs are friendly to some extent. In terms of cleanliness it is very below standard! They have free wifi which creates problem very often. In room amenities (bed, CRT TV, bothroom etc) are old! They dont change bed-sheet, towel everyday! They dont provide any toiletries. Only for location and couple of staffs this hotel is very popular and you may hardly get free if you dont book early.

Hotel location is very good for tourists as it has lots of restaurants money changer specially new market nearby. But they are not clean at all. specially there bin busket stinks. Their bed linens are too much old or dirty that white is no longer white at all.Toilets doesn't provide any toilet tissue and hot water works for few minutes only. They provides blanket which don't have any cover & I am in doubt how frequently they wash it.
