This review is only about the food quality at Sindhukanya Restaurant and Shopping Complex. I recently ordered lunch with a Veg Thali and Katla Fish. They served two vegetable items, dal, and one fried item. Overall, I liked most of it — especially the dal, which was really delicious. However, I wasn’t happy with one of the vegetable dishes — the potato with pointed gourd didn’t taste fresh at all. It seemed like the vegetables were old, and I didn’t enjoy that part. I also tried their Puri Sabji. The puris were fine, but again, the vegetable curry was disappointing. It looked and tasted like it was made with low-quality or possibly old potatoes. So overall, a mixed experience — some items were good, especially the dal, but freshness and ingredient quality definitely need improvement.

Located right on Mandarmani beach road, this place offers you a variety of dishes. We tried the pomfret curry, crab masala and prawn masala. Crab was delicious and very juicy and fresh, on the other hand pomfret and prawns weren’t that fresh. Overall as pricing is normal, it is definitely a place to tryout.

The food was good in day 1 as we ordered plenty of fish and chicken items. But next day as we ordered only two veg thali and egg omlet, the service was very poor. They even didn't offered and served food after asking for several times. The service should be improved and the prices of fish items should be affordable as beside the sea, sea fishes are atleast should be affordable. Otherwise thali rate is good and reasonable.

They have good food options and lots of seating arrangements. Food is tasty and the guy at the desk is quite friendly and helpful. You can place your order in advance over telephone. Interestingly, finding a milked tea vendor was very difficult, apparently bengali have all converted to black tea. But the manager did manage it for me and how much I feel indebted for that. This is a highly recommended place.

A standard budget restaurant with average food where u would get variety of meal options. Their veg meal is most basic an not to expect great taste and quality! They have various chicken and fish side dishes also and the price was decent When I visited towards mid Dec there was too much flies in the restaurant and it was a bit unhygienic.

Ate here twice separated by almost ten years and I'm happy to say that the food is still decent and reasonably priced. Just don't go for the overpriced crab. The adjacent shopping complex stocks a huge variety of stuff and is great for both browsing and buying knick knacks.

The place is great, it's right next to the beach (like a 2-3min walk). You can get places to stay at a cheap rate. When I had visited the place, we were a group of 6 and they charged us Rs.1300 per day. The people here might try to take advantage of you, just make sure you aren't getting cheated plus the service isn't that great. The place is amazing if you want to chill at Mandarmoni for a while and you know the place beforehand.
