Motel Dalkhola

Food was highly overpriced in Dalkhola line hotel where the Intercity bus stops..and service was very slow.. A passenger could miss their bus, if they asked for a meal. I've seen male passengers take plates right into the kitchen to get themselves a meal. The owner is ready with a sheaf of 10 rupee notes, to return change of Rs 200/-,for a chicken meal costing Rs 190/-..Its a RIPOFF!! Its best to carry your own food and drink some tea from here, which costsRs10/-,instead of Rs 5/-..The Government of Western Bengal is least bothered about these ripoffs at passenger halts such as Dalkhola.. Hunger and thirst of people is being richly exploited here, in the name of a tourist halt.Shame on The West Bengal Tourism Ministry. However, I have no review for Hotel Dalkhola yet and nothing to mention about its service.

Have food or a cup of tea in the morning over there only if you do not have any other options. Especially when the busses land up there. Unreasonably expensive without giving you anything. A small paper cup of tea, that too of the worst quality will cost you 10 bucks. Use their bathroom, they charge you for that. It will cost you 3 Rupees. That too the worst place to pee. So, beware before you enter.
