Kamat Lodge

Kamat lodge in Gokarna is a very old hotel. If one does not go by looks, this property is really good. Rooms are small but had very comfortable beds. Room service was the best. It is one of the best hotels in the town. Only caveat is taking steps to first or second floor. Some senior citizens might have problem climbing stairs.

I have my brother in law's house in Bijju but I love the stay in kamath lodge , there the atmosphere is pleasant ,no noise pollution,clean and comfortable rooms, owner and other staffs are co-ordinative. Market , bus depot is nearby auto and bikes are easily available.

Kamat lodge is really exceptional location wise. From outside it may seem very basic but rooms are good with clean bedding, necessary toiletries And most importantly ac rooms! They also have homestay too which is very good spacious and comfortable. Perfect example of don't judge a book by its cover

One of the good hotel located near to main temple (1.5 kms). Friendly staff and best suited for families and couples. Parking facilities available. Rooms were neat and clean. Each room has a balcony and view is amazing.

One of the Best and Very well maintained rooms. Both AC n Non AC rooms. Location wise also near to Main temple(1.5km) and other beaches(6km to OM beach & Kudle beach), bus stand - walkable 5 minutes to lodge Upon request they can arrange rental bike too. This lodge takes early morning requests with a little extra charge.

We stayed at this property for around 4days . Mahadev ji very cooperative . He helped us with early check-in, auto for pickup and drop and also cab for the Murudeshwar trip . He literally helped us with everything we asked for. We are very pleased with his behaviour and hospitality. I will recommend this lodge to everyone as it is walkable distance to Atmalinga temple and everything you need is available near by. Thank you ☺️

Good rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again. Location is good as there are good, but expensive veg restaurants near by. And Main beach is 20 min walk away.
