You will be staying in Bamboo bungalow, so the air will come in without any mosquitoes. You will always feel fresh at night so there’s no need for A/C. All the equipment’s are brand new, the fan is silent and there’s hot water. The room is wide and you have a small terrasse. Really well located. Near the market and Chillout bamboo restaurant (the best in Hampi) but still really quiet. The beds are amazing, I’ve slept like a baby all the time I stayed there. The owner is really nice and arranged a lot, I had no booking and the price was more than honest, especially in festival time (ostawa) definitely the best place to sleep for a romantic or solo adventure.

It is difficult to evaluate this facility.|The owner owns several facilities, Kushi Cottages, Kushi's Cottage, and Paradise Villat, and the information on the hotel accommodation site is a mixture of information on these multiple facilities, so it is unclear which one is being referred to.|Some are a 5-minute walk from Virupaksha Temple and Hampi Bazaar, while others are 2km or 4km away. The price also varies from a few hundred rupees to over 2,000 rupees. The availability of air conditioning and the services offered vary greatly depending on the facility.|Although the choices of how to stay are completely different, they are listed as one facility on hotel reservation sites, which is very confusing.||After making a reservation through Agoda, I was unable to contact the facility at all, and when I tried to contact the phone number I managed to find on the day of arrival via Whatsapp, I received a reply saying, "We have not received your reservation. If you cancel your reservation, we will accept it directly." When I explained the situation to Agoda, they said that they could not contact me because the contact information of the accommodation was incorrect, and they responded in a ridiculous manner by giving Agoda the phone number of the facility manager. From Agoda. Due to the cancellation policy, the paid fee is non-refundable. The accommodation facility canceled, so the cancellation was completed.||The room I chose was a hut made of woven bamboo, with a unique facility of a double bed made of two single beds pushed together, a fan, a washroom, a simple shower, and a toilet. It is near Hampi Bazaar and surrounded by private houses. I chose this place because of its good location and the uniqueness of the facility, but since it is only separated by a thin wall made of bamboo, you can hear not only the next room but also the neighboring houses. I knew this in advance, so I thought it was unique, but it was my first experience in my life.|The experience of a hut made of woven bamboo is a harsh experience that goes beyond the concept.||The owner uses a hotel booking site to attract customers, but in order to save on the hotel booking site's commission, she says that there are no reservations, and encourages people to cancel and change to direct payment. There are pros and cons to this method, but it's up to you to take it.

Place is no where same as in the websites you look for. Worst owner, she is of no help to the customer. There is not even one good service that I can think of and mention here. I wanted to provide this review here so that, this has to be honest and helpful to other travellers. Owner is very rude and money minded person which is not wrong but while doing business but not thinking of their customers and don't providing very basic facilities is not a good sign. It's just a bamboo delicate hut not even thoroughly built. When stayed it feels like it doesn't even survive the basic rain. Worst bathroom and room no cleanliness at all. No maintenance done. Very bad smell in both the rooms we stayed. Horrible experience in all aspects because of the room and owner both of them and the service they provided. Very bad room for over hyped price. Even after providing very horrible service the owner has the audacity to come here to review and talk bad about the customer. Very rude and too much money minded horrible lady owner is. Don't believe the lady owner in this review as they were very rude and very cunning people who scam people by providing wrong details.

You can have a comfortable stay at Khushi cottages. Personal touch by the owners. If you want to just visit monuments, you may opt for other facilities. But if you want to interact with grassroot level people of Hampi, prefer this location. All these people are born and brought up in Hampi, near Virupaksha temple. They know every minute detail of Hampi. Owners themselves are registered guides. They guide us to make our stay and itinerary comfortable. The guide recommended (Mr. Mallesh) also has good knowledge of entire place. For food, you have to visit nearby restaurants. Room service (food) provided by service provider has limitations. If you are paying around 1200, then it's worth it. But on weekends and holidays they charge double or triple price. Location is good. Walkable distance to virupaksha temple. So many small restaurants and shopping spots near by. But rooms are not worth the high price on weekends. It has a small bamboo room and a small bathroom. You can hear noise from outside and can hear what other people are talking in adjacent rooms. Not much privacy.

The service at Khushi Cottage is terrible. The staff is lazy and doesn’t care about guests’ issues. The place is filthy, with no proper cleaning or maintenance. Basic amenities like hot water and Wi-Fi don’t work, even though they claim otherwise. Management is completely useless and unorganized. Staying here was a total waste of time and money. Avoid this place at all costs.

Had a wonderful stay at Khushi cottage. All main tourist places are at walkable distance from the cottage. service is amazing. Please are helping
