Very well maintained and budget friendly rooms available here.. me and my friends visited this place on our vacation.. friendly staffs ..Place located near temple so it's very convenient to visit... very good parking space and we can take lift from direct parking area... good views from the balcony..

Tried to make a direct booking 4 days before actual stay as I needed an early check in as I was traveling overnight by bus and had a meeting at 11AM. The staff memner at theclodge (yes GK Residency) says book through booking. com. I repeat I want an early check in the person on the phone who says no problem. I had to pick up some belongings of my so nwho stays in a hostel nearby this property and that was the only reason I even chose this. I also had to meet my son at his college at 11AM. Two days after booking I also called the property number (a different one from the one I called first) given by booking.com after confirmation from the website. A lady this time inform my booking is there. Again repeats the same story about requirement of early check in. Same answer NO PROBLEM. As my bus was running late called again around 6AM from the bus saying I will reach by 9 AM latest. Now a third person who answers says BIG PROBLEM. All rooms are apparently full. Booking. com booking is only from 12 noon proclaims this gentleman. Now why did 2 other people in the lodge over the last 4 days confirm I have the room from 8AM (th lodge has a 24 hour checkout) I ask him .Oh no...the latest gentleman who answers CANNOT CARE LESS. If someone checks out early he says will give room early and slams the phone. Tired and weary after a long exhausting bus journey I decided not to take up his "generous " offer for the main reason this property is in a residential suburb and no other property nearby. And clearly he cannot care less whether he wants my business or not. Looks like this property is only for temple worshippers and Kannadiga speakes who dont bother about "silly things" like business travelers who want early check in etc. In the end I had to do a lot of phoning around from the bus using a Google search and just in the nick of time with LUCK I found another property in a central location and very near my son's college which had rooms available. It was also some 500 rs cheaper and the l reception staff knew English and also knew how to speak pollitely on the phone. Yeah you guessed it...that is where I will give my business next time. I have given the very same feedback to booking.com.as the reason for my cancellation.Just because it is payment at the property doesn't mean that property cannot go back pn their oral confirmations of early check in given by two different staff.

Very reasonable rate for good, clean and neat rooms. Convenient for people travelling to visit the temple. Highly recommend
