Hotel Anugraha Lodge

Reached there on 27-Oct-2012 around 17:45.||There is ample parking space in front of the hotel. ||The building is big enough and at it has both AC and non AC rooms. All AC rooms are located at the ground floor and AC rooms are loacated in the 1st and 2nd floor, the non AC rooms have private balcony and AC rooms don’t have balcony, the logic is the occupants may keep open the door of the balcony and AC will have to be over worked.||I showed my reservation at the reception and he said the room I have booked is not vacated by the previous occupier but offered us another room with 2 double beds and with AC. I just had a look at the room and everything was neat and clean, especially bathroom with good fittings. I agreed as we were only five including the kid. The room was quite big for the five of us including my kid. There a two door wooden cupboard with some hangers, a lcd tv with setup box, it played all the channels (though I rarely switch on the tv when I travel). There was one big window opposite to the door and had a good view of a farm land. I could see no misquotes but still I switched on misquotes repellent which we had carried as I didn’t want to take chance especially when my son is around. The AC was set to 19 degree C as we were all sweating due to high humidity though the AC was on in my car for most of the journey. We are cooled in on time. Due to electric kettle I was able to get the water boiled as there was timing to get the hot water and the timings is from 5:50 AM to 7:30 AM. We all got ourselves ready with a just a small nap and the beds were very clean and even our bodies needed it.||Evening stroll and Dinner:||Around 6:45 PM we all went out for a stroll and my father went to the temple to find out when to get the receipt for my kids choula offerings but he came back with receipt as they were giving it for next day since there was a huge crowd and because of that we kept ourselves out. We strolled for some time and we were again sweating again and we decided to have dinner. There are two good looking hotels one of them was Kumara Krupa and we went there to have dinner but the huge crowd inside made us to decide to have the food get parcelled to the room so that we can enjoy it in AC room instead of in a sweating and crowded place. During our food getting packed we had tea and then I bought 5 arecanut plates from a shop opposite to hotel Kumara Krupa. Got the parcel to the room and then had the dinner around 8 PM. For some time we chatted and then retired to out beds around 9:30 PM. Had good sleep for some time and after that the problem started. I could sense some thing moving around my legs and got up to see what’s that but could find anything but I sure there was some thing and I just waited for some time with light on and then I could see small cockroaches coming beneath the bed, I was really annoyed and brought to the notice of the hotel staff and they cleared it of with some thing and then again went of the sleep.||Head tonsure and Subramanya darshana :||Next time I opened my eyes when it was 5:45 AM. My parents had taken bath by that time and my they were ready. By 6:15 AM we went to the place where tonsuring is done which is located near to adhi Subramanya temple. We got the serial no on the receipt and went on to have the darshana. There was plenty of time to get our turn and got my kids head tonsured. We went back to the hotel had a bath tough it was around 8:30 AM we could get hot water. Then we went for the Darshana around 9:15 AM and again see sea of people we got the receipt for the immediate darshana and had a good darshana of the Lord Subramanya. ||Around 10 AM we were out of the temple and then we again decided to get the parcel of the breakfast as the hotel was crowded and we had heavy breakfast in our room and then we started to get ready to depart.

All the place was totally dirty, bad conditions in the bed, the covers, the air conditioner workint out, noisy, and the shower was only with a bucket. I will never visit this place and not recommended for nothing. Even the bathroom was unneat without toiletpaper and darkness the bath. Even the walls have mucus in each wall no only one several! and be carefull due to in the bed stayed some insects allocated like ticks

The temple town had very few hotel options and this was selected due to the walkable distance from the Subrahmanay temple.||||We had been on road for the last few days and after staying on reasonable hotels, this place was below par. ||||Room service was good. Rooms were below average and shabby. TV was there, but was good for nothing - all you get is just the local channels. Also, it was noisy. ||||Overall, if you stay in this place then don't have any expectation. Hot water was available as we had to checkout early in the morning.

Not a good place to stay. Full of bedbugs on the bed and walls. Toilet flush not working. No hot water. Lift not working. Lodge is on 3rd floor. Worst experience ever

The kukke subramanya plan was sudden. It is said that you visit when the Almighty God beckons. We planned to go somewhere else but in the last moment our plan changed and we headed to Kukke Subramanya. ||One of our familiar priests of Kukke Subramanya booked this lodge for us. It is walkable distance to temple. We stayed here for three days. The lodge is surrounded amidst green vegetations and peaceful local surrounding. Rooms are in economical budget from 500 rupees to 1200 rupees (depends on A/C, Non A/c,Single room, Double and family room) ||Our room was standard Non A/c double room with T.V and Hot Water. Our T.V was coming blurred otherwise overall experience was good. There is no fooding facility in the lodge. All the restaurants are near to the temple which is on the main road and it hardly takes 5-10 minutes to reach the main road by walk.||Overall the lodge is good.

Location: Situated off the Main Road. No Direct accessibility ||||Rooms: Average, Damp and Smelling. The beds were all smelling and had Lot of Bed Bugs. Did not get Proper sleep in the night with Bed Bugs around. I almost had to drown these slimy fast moving creatures into a water mug to drown and I captured around 4 of these in the night||||Service: Was Just above average. The Room boys were very Co operative.||||Cleanliness: Neatness is maintained, but it would have been better if they change the sheets regularly

The worst lodge I ever boarded till date. Rooms, Beds, Bathroom are so dirty that I recommend not to go for this lodge. As it was too late and I didn't have prior information about this lodge, I booked here. But it's not at all a good lodge. It doesn't even have lift facility though lodge starts from 2nd floor.

Stayed in the 2 Bed + TV room. This can be considered for a place to freshen up and keep your stuff while you finish darshan. Average room - most of the plug points dont work and hot water is only from 5:30 to 7:30.
