Sri Durga Lodge

I had actually stayed here 5 years back so I decided to visit here again. This time the experience was very bad. Rooms were very dirty. Washroom was very bad.. No proper water drainage.. Flush not working.. Hot water not at all hot etc etc. *Update after reply from owner*...I am replying to the sagar durga lodge itself. Also the fan regulator was not working and we either had to switch off the fan or run it in full speed.

Worst service they provide. They won't return the deposited money on time. Bathrooms are untidy. They provide dirty bedsheets. We can find workers smoking in the corridors all the time, which provide inconvince. Intercoms facilities are very poor. They won't treat the customers properly. Instead they quarrel. No hospitality at all.

Very helpful staff and owner..allowed us to check in late night at around 11 and the room and the toilet were very clean. Budget friendly lodge with parking and CCTV facility. Very hot water is available for bathing from 630 in the morning and they also serve coffee/tea at the rooms which is charged at actuals.

On 26th January 2019we stayed there for 1 night. We faced lots of problems in that room. 1. Don’t book this hotel from any of the online sites. Because they will again ask money from us even though we paid through online. This hotel owner says we don’t get the payment from the any online hotel bookings sites So please don’t book this place. 2. Room was very dirty and not maintained properly. 3. No hot water. 4.Dirty and low cost blanket. We had paid extra 700/- ₹ for room even though I paid from the online through goibibo(₹1600/-). Still I can see this hotel in goibibo, Please remove your hotel name from the mentioned site. So that customer will not book from this site. =>For hotel Owner: Customer will never new you won't accept the bookings from online hotel booking site.

Very poor & ordinary basic room. A/c not working n poor TV display. Not advisable with kids.importance in collecting money not shown towards customer satisfaction. Reply on 22nd Oct 17...... For ur below reply, This shows ur quality, don't u be ashamed to tell this, while booking,you have mentioned clearly it's a Deluxe AC Room. At the time of check out, while balance amount closing, we asked for the reason, without giving proper reply. You have gone back to your home and sat inside. You allowed the cleaning person to speak to us. We opted for two rooms ( room no. 18 &19- ground floor). For one of the room there is no key. So we have to keep all our belongings in the another room and went out. Please accept the mistakes and correct it. Replying with false information is not benefitting anyone.

Visited Durga lodge last week. They requested online payment and the check in and check out was very easy. Room service personnel was friendly and timely. Only cons was the bathroom EWC which was leaking. The hotel management needs to address these issues which are basic and needs timely intervention. Good supply of hot water. Overall a good experience.

Time schedule is some how find different 6am to 6pm calculation as one day 4 members not allowed in Double cot room Which is some how unusual(parents with two adult children)

If you can, please avoid this place. Bad, unkempt, tiny rooms with old furniture and untidy bathrooms. It is a two person establishment with the non-owner playing the roles of a room boy, sweeper, receptionist and guide! The proprietor is an old school gentleman who is hardly a man of his words. His promises on the phone are just hollow and meaningless. We and a few others too witnessed the worst kind of service during our stay there. The only advantage is its location in the middle of the town. However, parking is a perennial problem.
