Hotel Review – AC Deluxe Room Stay in Udupi (3 Days) I recently stayed in an AC Deluxe room for three days in Udupi. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the receptionist, Ravi, who was polite and wore black spectacles. Another staff member, Vinod, who is tall and wears golden specs, also assisted us. Both of them were courteous and respectful in their behavior throughout our stay. Positive Aspects: Room Quality: The AC Deluxe room was quite spacious and clean on arrival. The TV worked well, and the washroom was decent. Staff Behavior: Vinod, in particular, was very helpful. He was professional, well-mannered, and responsive to our requests. He also helped clean the room, change the bedsheets, and replace the pillows without any hesitation. General Atmosphere: The stay was comfortable overall, and the staff was approachable. Areas for Improvement: Bed Quality: The bed was not very comfortable and could be improved for better sleep quality. Housekeeping: Room cleaning was not done proactively. We had to request room cleaning, which ideally should be done daily in a deluxe booking. Water Quality: The washroom had dirty water, likely due to heavy rains, but it was quite unpleasant to use. Utilities Access: The AC and geyser were turned off each time we left the room. We had to request the staff to turn them back on whenever needed, which was inconvenient. Geyser Capacity: The geyser seemed to be very small, probably under 5 liters. It required multiple heating cycles (almost 4 times) to fill a 20-liter bucket, which was time-consuming and frustrating. Overall Experience: While the room and some aspects of the service were good, especially the helpful behavior of Vinod, there are several areas that need attention, particularly in terms of housekeeping and utility management. For the price paid, guests expect more convenience and fewer restrictions on basic amenities like hot water and air conditioning.

I checked in, but I couldn't stay because I was a foreigner. However, it looked very clean and comfortable. I guess it's ok that I can't stay.
