Average experience. Budget friendly. 800 Rs per day. Old type ambience. Very old lodge.

I visited Kottayam in 2012 for a chess tournament. We reached well past midnight. This hotel was one of the places mentioned on the brochure of the tournament, which was why I had booked at this place. It is not the average kind of place. There is no canteen service, or anything. The rooms, including tiling, seemed to have been renovated piecemeal giving it an odd feel. At that time, for the price that was charged here, I had got a way better room at Cochin. The saving grace to this place is that their doors are always open. Even when we reached somewhere around 2 am, they did not turn us away.

Very disappointed with the service.. Rooms reminds me Old 90s interior.. and beds don't look Hygiene. And toilet and bath are Average Cleaned. Atleast they should provide A fresh water bottle for every check in customer, they are providing Unsealed water bottle from freezer. Very disappointed.. will not Recommend for Standard officials..!!!

Please refine taking this Lodge so dirty and unhygienic that we can't even stay for an hour. From the outside looks are good but inside it's filthy and untolerable. It's really cheap just only Rs. 600/night.

Once again my regular hotel in Kottayam..As I work as Govt. Approved Regional Level Tourist Guide for French Germans and Italians... I stay at this Lodge often... Rs 700/- for a non ac room... First stop when you are coming from Kumarakom to Kottayam at Baker junction.. Reasonable... Clean... Hot water all day...Aarayas restaurant very nearby for my vegetarian colleagues. Bang near to the town center.

Its a budget friendly lodge, rooms are avarage but price point its ok

Nice rooms well maintained and we'll get hot water too. 1 table, 1 chair, TV and it's worth living here. Thank U SI
