SHANKAR RESIDENCY

We visited Shankar Residency Hotel in the month of November 2024. Shankar Residency Hotel is newly build property about just 2 years old as per owner told me.We reached hotel at night for check-in, though the roads are very Narrow to reach the hotel ( just one car can pass at a time either way) the hotel owner himself came to receive us and guided as till his parking space safely. Parking area is small but can accommodate 10-15 cars easily & equipped with cctv camera. Hotel staff is very helpful too.Owner of the hotel gave us all the information about which other places to visit in and around Shri Vatavruksha Swami Maharaj Devasthan, Akkalkot. Owner also booked for us auto rickshaw on our demand & made sure we get smooth darshans. Also main advantage of this hotel is that the Vatavruksha temple is just 1min walk away(just opposite) from this hotel. Regarding rooms I would like to say that they are compact but have very comfy bed, good looking, well maintained and clean with 24/7 hot water(shower & tap) in bathroom with hygienic toilet. Additional things like TV, WIFI and balcony available too.They have ac and non ac rooms options and building has Elevator. Breakfast was not available when we visited this place as their cook was sick but there is available option for breakfast but no dinner & lunch available, so you will have to go outside to have food. Overall its the best place to stay. You won't regret your stay here. Well you will love it. Specially Owner goes out of his way to help and guide you. Very polite and sweet person. I came from Mumbai with my family for Swami darshan and stayed for 2 days in Hotel Shankar Residency. The hotel is in front of Swami Samarth Maharaj Math so it was very easy for us to get the darshan at any time of the day. Rooms were clean and hygienic. Staff was very friendly and respective towards us. Quality of their service is top notch. Great place to stay in Akkalkot.

Rooms are neat and clean and well maintained. Hot water available 24/7. Nearest to temple. Staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast available and has good taste. Must visit.

Best stay option just near to vatvriksha mandir by swami Kripa... all bhakti nivas was full at that time... owner was supportive and well cultured... rooms are neat and ckean... price seems to be on higher side.

The hotel is very neat & clean. Good & co-operative staff. Quick service. Good food. The location is a bit inside the village area. But the best part is it's in front of Shri Swami Samartha Mandir 😊🙏🏼

Perfect place to stay at Shankar Residency.This lodging is just opposite of Vatvruksha Mandir.. Very convenient and feasible if you have kids and senior citizen accompanied.. Lift is also available as this is 4 storey building...

Rooms were very neat & clean. The furniture and bathroom accessories are brandnew. Breakfast facility is available at chargeable basis. Service is very good.

Rooms are small but neat and clean. Toilet was clean. 24 hours hot water. Friendly and co-opertive staff. Food was of good quality but limited menu. They may want to include few more item in their food menu. Location is the best part of this hotel. It is just opposite to Vatvruksh mandir. Room rent was a bit on higher side which the owner may think of. Otherwise overall a good option for stay in Akkalkot.
