Kovai Residency

Ok ok experience. Rooms are spacious however not value for money. Only 10rs soap is provided. No complimentary items. This is a very old hotel but maintained good. Laundry and sheets not upto the point. Mosquito problem was there in the 1st floor. Very Close location to Gandhipuram.

I recently traveled to Coimbatore from Chennai with my family. We contacted this hotel in advance for accommodation, and the staff confirmed our booking over the phone. However, when we arrived at the hotel around 11 p.m., the staff informed us that no accommodation was available, and they conveyed this in a very harsh manner. We were left stranded and had to go through a lot of trouble to find another place to stay at such a late hour. Thankfully, we managed to find a room at another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone due to their irresponsible and rude staff.

Decent rooms, neat and clean. Close to the bus stand is an advantage. Hot water is available in a limited time only. Ample space for car parking.

The quality of the rooms is very normal and are below expectation for the price which they claim. The amenities of the room which they offer are not clean like bed sheet, towel, bathroom and the room is very small, you don have only space for the bed. The only advantage you get of choosing this lodge is the car parking and it is near the gandhipuram bus stand. If you are not specific with the place you could find a different option. Finally, from my opinion for the price the Kovaipudur residency offers is not worth it.

I have seldom come across such neat place In Gandhipuram Room was pretty functional for the budget & the toilets were neat Friendly staff, only flip side is there is no in-house restaurant Super parking also
