Surprisingly great!! Felt worth the money I paid. Had a second thought as I have seen few mixed reviews. I was checked-in earlier around an hour before. We took a Family room AC. Room was clean & neat with large space and was comfortable. Parking lot can hold around 4 cars maximum, could be first come first served. Good service as well, and they really addressed the queries we asked as earlier as possible.

A fantastic small hotel, off the road so nice and quiet.|My room (301) was large with 2 double beds.|Breakfasts each morning were hearty, and all the staff were very helpful.|WiFi worked well, and the room had ceiling fans and good aircon.||You can walk into town in about 15 mins.||Just to mention, you cannot pay by Credit Card - cash or Google/Apple pay

Good for family to stay for short trips. Rooms are neat. Covered car parking available. It will be better if towels are replaced frequently. I think towels are washed but still not good to use. Room are spacious for couples. Location is perfect, but don't follow google map, it will lead to some market area.

Clean and Spacious rooms. Affordable price. Lift facility also available. Located near to public transport. Best choice for family stay.

If you're going on a solo trip or with friends i would say it's ok to consider as a last option. But as a family with a kid, i would not recommend this place. Rooms were tiny, cleanliness wasn't upto the mark.

Nice and pleasant stay for last 4 days here. Best rooms for the pricing in this locality near Kumbakonam bus stand. Keep doing the best service! Note : Suggesting to add a wardrobe space in rooms to upsell and upgrade the rooms in future.

Very close to the bus stand. Car parking is available both inside and outside the hotel. But the approach road is poor. The hotel is well maintained with a lift facility. Family rooms are very spacious with two bathrooms. Double occupancy rooms are also spacious. No attached restaurant.

Dear Readers, This is our first visit to Kumbakonam and first stay in Ananda Residency. We went for some temple visits. I spoke to Ranjini Madam and booked 2 rooms for 5 members of our family. Paid the token advance as well. All these happened without being there before and just happened over a couple of phone calls. She was very courteous and responsive for my calls and room confirmation. Reached Kumbakonam and this hotel is just walkable distance from Bus Stand. The street where the hotel is situated is neat and clean. But from Bus Stand to the hotel street, the lanes were not that clean. Need to see if there is any other way (via main road) to come to this hotel. Hotel has a big fully covered car parking. May accommodate 5 - 6 cars for sure. Front desk person was very courteous and the room service boys also very polite. We weren't able to meet Ranjini madam. The rooms were very neat and clean. Pleasant looking. Very calm atmosphere. The surrounding was very quiet. The rooms were big enough to accommodate three people very comfortably. Bed was good. Washroom was very neat and clean. AC worked well. All over, this was a nice and calm stay for us at Ananda Residency. Whenever we visit Kumbakonam again, I made sure that we will be staying at this hotel only. Thank You, Kannan K.
