New Femina Lodge

Femina Lodge is located in the centre on Kumbukonam which is home to the World Heritage listed Dharasuram temple.||||The hotel has air-con and non air-con rooms. We stayed in an air-con one but it was so noisy that we had to turn it off half way through the night. The only other negative about the room was that, like many budget hotels in India, the bed had no top sheet which can be uncomfortable.||||On the plus side, the hotel has it's own generator to cope with the frequent power outages. The staff were also more friendly than is usual for this kind of hotel. It's also important to factor in that the room rate works out at around US$15.00 for the air-con room or US$10.00 for the non air-con.

We stayed one night for visiting the navagrah temples during 18 Feb 2012 . The place was very busy. Our room was smallish but the disappointment was the bathroom and floor ; it was in a little bit of a sorry state.||||Good budget one if need , Please have a look on all the rooms and bargain for the room tariff. ||||Not the best one to choose for a night's stay . There are no generators either .

Low cost but, rooms were very average and not clean. Restrooms were bad. Won't recommend this place.
