Vels Green Castle

This hotel doesn't even have a proper bed and the bedsheets and blankets are stinky. I don't even know when was the last time they washed it. Moreover, even if they wash it they don't use proper laundry as I saw the bedsheets and towels lying on the grass outside the rooms. The photos that are available on Google are a work of photoshop. Towels were ordinary and stinking. Even a part of the window was broken. Room entertainment was not even in english. There is a single help and he is clearly overloaded. The hotel doesn't have enough keys which are required to light a room and so hope that you are not the last one to occupy the room. The only good thing about the room was a functional geyser.

I stayed there in December 2014.||The rooms are well maintained. The surroundings and all are neatly managed and beautiful.||There is no restaurant or even a kitchen. If we order food it will be expensive.||The holiday rental is situated away from the city and the going to it is like travelling through a pine forest. It is adjacent to Fern Hill Palace and so reaching there will be easier when asked for Fern Hill as Vel's Green Castle isn't much popular.

no restaurant kitchen room service. even tea coffee is not available in the evening. continuous noise over rooftop throughout night from some plastic cover. we booked two rooms for one night for two families with kids, could not get warm water for the kid. felt lucky to leave for another hotel very next morning.|NEVER RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILY TRIP.

I booked two super deluxe room using goibobi. But after reaching the hotel they provided one super deluxe and one deluxe room. We complained, they responded that they don't have any other room.||Hotel is in remote area in between a jungle , but they don't have restaurant facility. people has to go far away for having dinner or lunch....||||Resort is not good at all.

Beautiful place to stay. Stunning view. Though it is quite inside from the city, the place is worth going and staying. You'll love it.

It's good. We are bunch of 5 people. They treated well. And it's a good experience over all near the Ooty lake.

Place is okay okay. There is only one maintainer, which is handling everything , so you might have to wait for service. We had to wait at reception for 1hr for check-in.

One of the best hotel in the Ooty , room facilities are awesome. But service is very bad
