OYO Vel Vel Guest House

I booked the hotel through online for offer price. When I reached the hotel around 2 am, the manager rejected giving me room. He said booking is not confirmed and told me that my booking is cancelled. Then I showed him the confirmation mail which I received. After lots of discussion I got the room around 3 am.

The location seems to be fine, bus stand and the railway station will be around 1 to 1.5km. I took a non AC room and it was okay for that money, no bedsheets were provided. Unfortunately the toilet door is not able to lock. An old model tv was available but it was not recharged when I inquired they said the bank was not working 😂. I stayed three more hours from my checkout time and they charged 30% for it. It looks safe for the family since it is in the middle of a residential area.

Worst experience.we made a booking through oyo and when we reached there the person was sleeping and made us to wait for half and hour. We reached hotel at midnight and moreover the person made us to wait for half and hour. The booking was confirmed from oyo side and made payment of half of the amount. But when we said about the booking details that gentleman from hotels I've said he didn't recieved any confirmation and payment was not recieved. The amount which was informed from oyo side was 714 for one day stay but the person in the hotel said we have to pay 1500 as we don't provide rooms on that amount in oyo We have to take another hotel on that night because of the behavior from the hotel side. Please remove this hotel from booking sites as they are charging extra amount from their side

It is a fake management and do not book any room here. I booked room through online agoda and they rejected my booking because they do no have any relationship with agoda . I said i will take another room since i need a room urgently to relax , i have a small kid. They said it is fully booked .I requested them to share good hotels names near by. But no help from them. Then I contacted local police . With help of police, i managed to get a room in another hotel with higher rate since time crossed another 2 hours and late evening which delayed our planning. I contacted Agoda customer service for refund . Then Agoda contacted the property and conformed that now rooms are available instead of refund, you can go and take it. It is like playing they know that i have taken another room in different hotel . This is not first time, you can get similar type of reviews in many booking websites for this premise

Very bad situation we have faced. We have booked through booking. Com two AC rooms when reached the property they are not allowing a c rooms. Then heated discussion they allowed the rooms. The room have not even bath towel, soap, driking water etc.. Very worst situation we ever faced. Please remove this property from online bookings.

Good place near palani temple. Around 2km to temple entrance. View of the temple is good. Rooms are big and pocket friendly.

Avg ambience But polite and helpful management Very less amenities Even fans don't have any regulators Geyser is working well

This is a very good luxury hotel and give better version of experience while visiting Palani.
