Skantha Regency

No proper maintenance. For small rooms they charge high amount of money. When we leave room they enter without our permission to take the kettle given by them without proper intimation to us. No proper ventilation sewages smell heavily in the room . Air. Conditioner is worst of all .even in 16 degree Celsius no cooling + toilet smell = worst case scenario

Pleasant stay. Neat and clean rooms. Good service. Very near to temple. Would highly recommend this property for stay.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Booked triple bed and double bed rooms. Triple bedroom was very good and spacious. Bathrooms are very neat and clean. Also the hotel is very near to temple in walkable distance. Customer service is excellent and we also have car parking.Overall this lodge is very good without complimentary breakfast.

Except for the location it's not worth staying in this hotel. It's close by to the temple. When we reached this place on a busy day with well advance booking, they refused to give the rooms as promised. The staff is so rude. After a long struggle we got our room. Once we were in the room to our surprise, it was not clean. Only the washrooms were a little cleaner. The bed sheets and bed were horrible.

We stayed on Feb 19,20&21.Rooms were not clean and they didn't even changed the bedsheets. Only good thing about this lodge is room service. The rooms are not spacious and they charged 2000 rs per day which is not worth for the facilities.

Rooms were filthy and needs a thorough clean. Toilet, buckets and the toilet door are very dirty. Bedsheets had spots and the room floor was not clean. Went through the reviews of all the other hotels before selecting skantha but was disappointed. Could only presume even the other hotels will look the same in Thiruchendur! Service is a positive, people are ready to support 24/7. Location is close to temple (approx. 500 meters from the temple main door). Toiletries (soap) was provided. Cars will be parked in the parking place in ground floor but the car keys must be handed over so the people in reception could move the cars in and out to accommodate all the cars. Parking place is always full and cars must be moved in or out depending on what you must do (park in or move out).

Neat and clean rooms. Had a great experience staying here, but most importantly it’s the people there. The staffs here are kind and helpful. Thanks Skantha Regency team for making our stay safe and pleasant.
