Hotel Kalden Residency in Lachung, North Sikkim, exceeded my expectations. The staff was well-mannered, the food was delicious . rooms were clean and comfortable. The spacious dining area with view of Lachung, and the homestay was beautifully decorated with vibrant flowers. Highly recommended!

Rooms have balcony as well and Ambiance is great. The food here will surely give homely vibes. Everyday they bring in fresh vegetables from the farm to serve the guests. Sonamji and Reshmaji handled everything in a precise manner. Will surely recommend and visit again.

Staff, Rooms and Ambiance is great. The food, seems it made at our home. They bring fresh vegetables from the farm to serve the guests. Young and energetic staff are too much caring about child and elder. I especially thanks to Priya, she neverv refused any request . So, I recommend Kalden Residency for those who prefer to tour with family. As it is a Homestay in a Real Sense of the pharse.

Excellent maintenance with homely ambience. I got a room with river and mountain view. There is a beautiful waterfall view from the front. Food at this place is the best food I have had in any homestay so far, it was so soul warming and yummy. The whole family members there are dedicated, friendly and so pleasant to be with. I stayed in Lachung just for one night to go Yumthung valley. But I would prefer to go to this place again for a relaxed stay for at least a week again. 😍😍😍😍😍

Foods are ok. But no towels or hot water fluxe for drinking is available in room. They will provide the water in steel jug without glass. It will become cold after few time. Hospitality is very poor but decoration is very good. 5ft x 5 ft Toilet glass windows covered with cloth shutter is not properly locked.You will be treated like you stay or not stay that doesn't bother to them. Behaviour of the lady was very rude. Room functionality is very poor. Think twice before booking such place in heavy cold.

Very nice ambience and beautiful environment. Flowers all around and a nice garden with swing. Food quality is superb and taste is just like mother's cooking. Loved it and recommended to everyone.
