Araku Haritha Valley Resort

This is a basic resort that checks all boxes and is available at a comfortable price range near to tribal museum and botanical garden. We booked two rooms, and one was absolutely fine, but the other one's washroom was very smelly. Even after they cleaned it, it was still smelly which was a bad experience. They need to do a quality check for all the rooms and washrooms. The complementary breakfast was not that good.

Very nice resort of APTDC, right on the highway. Rooms are cosy having two rooms. Toilet is somehow small. There is a swiming pool inside. Resaurant is good with many food option. Restaurant cash counter person is very rude to customer and unfit for tourism industry. Ample parking space, sparsh garden made this resort beautiful.

Typical govt owned resort. The gardens are very well maintained but the rooms? Seems they just don’t care.. very shabby. The restaurant again …very shabby. People just don’t care there…

White Rice Rs60 But Egg fried rice Rs 160.... If you add couple of eggs to white rice with little bit of salt...it should be Rs 100 or 120....Am i wrong in my middle class thinking? I visited(2Adults) the restaurent at around 3.30pm,when inquired about availability of food, they told only fried rice avalilable,so ordered egg fried rice and having it.during that time 6 ladies came after us and sat next to us.for them they told entire menu and curries are available and they ordered them.when i later asked the bearer about this he says that you asked about rice only.basically these people are lazy...in private sector they will ask you what will you have ,any more orders.here these people feel if we order something,then they have to work more....unless they discard this attitude there is no future for state resorts.

**Avoid this place at all costs.** The bed sheets and linens were dirty, and the room was infested with mosquitoes. There was a strong, unpleasant odor of dampness throughout the room. The restaurant was also unclean. I highly recommend not booking your stay here.

Review on online room booking: I was trying to book a room in araku Haritha valley resort on 14th sept. After selecting / filling all the details I have paid the amount through Gpay. The aptdc website got disconnected without confirming the room booking. I called the help desk number and explained the issue. He asked me to send an email to helpdesk. Accordingly I sent an email giving all the details & problem on 14th sat. I called up again on 15th sun and I was told that the amount will be refunded within 7-10 days. However it was a pleasant surprise to me as I received the refund amount on 16th mon morning itself. Again I booked the room today morning and this time it was successfully completed the transaction and I received the confirmation of the room booking. I would like to rate 5 star on online booking experience. I hope that my stay at the resort in araku would be pleasant and enjoyable. Thanks to APTDC help desk team for your positive response and quick action.

The worst of its kind . Don't spoil your plans by booking this hotel . They charged extra for swimming pool but still dint clean the pool after telling them number of times . And the rude behaviour of staff was like insult to an injury . As it's an AP govt run initiative, they all think that they are govt officers . I with my 3 friends stayed there for vacation but ended up with only disappointment.The room service person even argued with us .They were charging 1500 for bonfire ..Except the location everything was worse .. don't spend your valuable money by booking this resort .
