Hotel Arika Grand and Urban Prison Restaurant

We recently visited Arika Grand Hotel for a weekend holiday, hoping for enjoyment and a pool party, but our experience was ruined by poor management. The staff were unprofessional and lacked proper management skills. We planned to enjoy the pool, but it was under maintenance—a claim that seemed like an excuse as there were no visible issues. The best part of our stay was the food; it was exceptional. We stayed for two nights and three days, trying almost all the food varieties, and loved every dish. However, the restaurant staff were insufficient, though the restaurant manager was humble and responsible. The ambience and rooms were perfect, with good parking and a nice location, but these positives were overshadowed by the unprofessional staff. A humble request to the owner: please choose staff with experience and professionalism to ensure guests have a better experience.

Worst place ever. The hotel lied to us. We took pool view room. They said that we took pool view not that we can use pool. Have been to hotels in and out of country. All amenities aren’t extra charged. They are included. They lied about everything. Later gave us lunch compensated that too after fighting for. Don’t visit. The reception staff is inhospitable. We live in 10 km perimeter of hotel. We came for pool. If we aren’t getting pool it should be on website Thank you for the reply but let me tell you swimming pool wasn’t under maintenance. Be staff clearly said that if we as water to pool and it rains the water will be wasted post chlorine addition. So basically the entire scenario is a lie. After talking to @makemytrip your star was ready to fill the pool then said that water will be wasted. Please discuss the entire thing with your staff then reply. You’ll look like a big lie mess

Stay, Food and Room was good. However hospitality wasn’t up to the mark. Lift not available in this hotel. Swimming pool available without water. Local boy handling the reception who is not aware of his billing system. Total mess up at reception and highly unprofessional. Even they don’t know to speak properly and ruined all experience.

A truly relaxing experience. The masseuse was skilled and knew exactly how much pressure to apply. The ambiance was serene, and the overall experience was top-notch.

Wonderful and comfortable stay. Staff is very helpful and courteous!! Food is delicious and pool is most comfortable place ! Reception and Resturent staff is political and always smiling: love to come back again

Recently attended one reception function here, it was located on the national highway on left side when going from Jammu to Pathankot. Party hall was spacious and luxurious, food was delicious!!

Love to enjoy here , this is the hotel , banquet just near to express Highway. It's a neat and clean property. I will recommend this resort to everyone who visit to Jammu.
