The Solar Residency

I recently stayed at The Solar Residency, and it was an amazing experience. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all of which were flavorful and well-prepared. The service was equally impressive – the staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a long day. Overall, my stay at The Solar Residency was delightful, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pleasant combination of great food, excellent service, and a comfortable stay.

Heater wasn't working during peak winter season and to get hot water in the bathroom takes over an hour. For a 4 star hotel things need to be much better. Rooms are good though.

According to me, Solar Residency is a 3-star hotel. They don’t provide new slippers; instead, they give used ones. There are only basic amenities and nothing else. The service is also very slow. The only good thing is that the food is delicious. Even for breakfast, there aren’t many options. The rooms are also very small, and all the furniture is old, outdated, and dirty.|If you want a luxury stay, then book Hotel The Dewan by Royal NaQash. It offers full amenities and is the best hotel in Srinagar so far.

The hotel is fabulous with calm vibes and located in the most happening place of Srinagar with a beautiful view. Speaking of the hotel dinner and breakfast, the service is excellent wherein the hotel staff take orders and also provide food that is out of the in-house guests menu, hence making sure the guests are satisfied. Overall a great experience and a wonderful place to stay at Srinagar. Special mention: Javid, Ashiq, Hamid, Rasiq - for being so humble and making our stay even better!

I stayed at Solar Residency in Kashmir and found it to be a comfortable and peaceful place. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay. However, the food at the in-house restaurant was average and could use more flavor. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, and some areas of the hotel, particularly the bathrooms, could benefit from better maintenance. Overall, it’s a decent stay but with a few improvements needed

House keeping and the food was excellent. The room linen was fresh and clean. Room was airy and well ventilated. There was a problem with supply of centrally heated water in the bathroom. However it was promptly rectified. Will recommend for families transiting through Srinagar.

It is located opposite Allen coaching institute Rajbagh and near famous zero bridge. It has great location and services. The MD of this hotel is very humble person. It is in good hotels in Srinagar
