Summary: the resort is overpriced and not worth more than ₹3,000/room Pros: 1. The rooms were decent 2. AC was working fine in the room Cons: 1. The door locks for the rooms were all defunct and replaced with rickety locks. 2. There was no hot water 3. The swimming pool was covered with algae 4. The dining area infested with mice and rats. We complained the same to the authorities and they just shrugged it off saying that's common 5. The cleaning staff just threw the garbage into the river :( 6. They charged us ₹4,500/person/night and was not worth > ₹1,500 for the same when compared with other places of similar facilities and ambience

We had a great experience and well maintained rooms and conference hall. Property is in river side and best place to chill and relax.. It was one of the best get together that we had ever, food, ambience and staff are also supporting and things were sorted in timely manner. I would like to give 100% to this resort and it is the best resort in this location. Simply loved it, Once again Special thanks to Mr Sarfraz for making all our arrangements as we requested.

1. Food Quality: The food was absolutely terrible and not worth the price. 2. Staff Behavior: The staff were unfriendly and rude. Even after giving tips, they expected more every day, and their behavior got worse after receiving tips. 3. Service: Service was appalling—honestly, it doesn’t even deserve one star. 4. Room Condition: The rooms were dirty and sticky. Bedsheets were not properly cleaned (seemed reused), and they refused to change them when requested. The health faucet and other basic amenities were non-functional. 5. Cleanliness: The pool was filthy and clearly not maintained. 6. Payment Issues: Staff seemed to be pocketing money directly, and they kept asking for more. I’m not sure if the owner is aware of this. My advice: don’t pay anything in advance and only make payments to the company’s official account. Overall, this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. I strongly advise against visiting this resort.

I had a very disappointing experience at Starling Resort. • Food: The food was terrible, and the quality was far from acceptable. • Rooms: The rooms were in a horrible state—extremely dirty and unhygienic. They were not cleaned properly and certainly not worth the high prices they charge (₹3000-₹3500 per head ). • Pool: The pool was filthy and unusable, definitely not suitable for families. lot of bachelors crowd and indecent crowd • Pricing: They are unclear about their pricing and overcharge for everything, including boating. It feels like their only intention is to extract money from customers. • Customer Service: The staff is unprofessional and lacks basic customer service skills. They expect tips for everything—whether it’s keeping luggage, paying the bill, or even minor tasks. • Additional Restrictions: Sitting by the riverside requires you to order extra items, and liquor is not allowed in the restaurant. • Location: While the location is good, it is very far from the city (around 15 km), making it inconvenient to get anything from the city. This place is not at all meant for families. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and high charges make it completely unworthy of even one star. My advice: do not pay in advance. Only pay after seeing the place, and stay only if you find it acceptable. Otherwise, avoid it altogether. This resort is highly unhygienic and unprofessional, and I would not recommend it to anyone. It’s not worth even ₹1000 per night, let alone the exorbitant rates they charge.

Nice location. Tent Rooms need to be upgraded. A large group of 60 plus people, killed our pleasant expected stay - extremely loud music all Day and night. The pool needs maintenance. Food was very good though.

Amazing stay. The premise is by the river side with a serene view and ample amenities to comfortably appreciate and enjoy the nature. The staff is very courteous and strive to provide value to the customers. The only minor issue is the bad roads one has to take to reach the resort.
