An unforgettable stay! Machaan Wilderness Lodge is the perfect blend of comfort and wilderness. The property is beautifully nestled in nature, just a few hours from Bangalore. The rooms are cozy, the staff is warm and attentive, and waking up to the sounds of the forest was magical. We even spotted deer right outside our cottage! The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. Will definitely visit again!

I finally made it to Machaan Wilderness Lodge in Nagarhole sanctuary after a protracted desire. The experience was amazing. The reception upon arrival simply melted my heart. Much before I reached the place Gautam called me on the phone and sent me a link to direct me to the lodge. He was waiting for us to help us through check in and reach our cottages. |Guided morning, evening and nocturnal trails through the coffee plantations to explore the fauna and flora were incredible. Gautam and Peter's knowledge and enthusiasm to show them was remarkable.|Well, the food, the coffee and the fresh fruit juice were too good and very reasonably priced given the remote location of the lodge.|Our backyard with the jacuzzi overlooking the wild elephant grass with all its resident birds was mesmerizing.|The spa is great. The people there are young and amicable. They made us feel absolutely relaxed during and after the massage.|Last but not the least, all the staff on the property are so friendly and ever smiling. it was a wonderful experience in all.

We stayed as a family of four on April 2025. excellent stay for 2 days. Room was beautiful, clean and well maintained. bathrooms were very clean. |Food was very good. Chef really prepared very good dishes. service from restaurant staff very very good. ||spl mention to Mr. Shreyas, Naturalist with whom the nature walk was really inspiring. |the resort is well placed in a beautiful area with excellent flora. . Shreyas Sir showed us around and explained the beauty of the trees, showed us birds and squirrels, |will recommend the nature walk. ||will definitely recommend this resort . we had a comfortable and memorable stay. |A big Thank you to Mr. Shreyas, Mr.. I had a wonderful stay at Machaan with my husband and kid. hospitality was top notch. Mr Gowtham was warm and friendly and readily available to any of our queries. The nature walk and night walk were one of kind experience. We got to learn a lot about the fauna and flora at the stay from Mr Gowtham. ||The rooms are very clean and spacious. The outdoor deck and the view of the forest were the highlight of the room. They have jacuzzi at the luxury lodges. It was fun but the temperature setting wasn’t working so couldn’t enjoy it completely. The property is maintained very well . ||Food was good but service could have been better. The staff were mostly Hindi speaking and I had a little hard time communicating with them. Would be nice to have some localities in the staff as well. ||Nagarhole tiger reserve is just 5mins drive and they had arranged for safari (for extra cost) which was a a nice experience for my kid. ||Overall had a surprisingly enjoyable stay at the property. Will surely be visiting them again.

Paradise. Heaven on earth. Sometimes you go with expectations of a place being good because of what all you’re told but Machaan surpassed every single expectation! We were a large group with grown up kids and had the best 3 nights here. The stay was so comfortable, the food amazing and the service impeccable! We were lucky to see tigers on both days of the safari we went for. Leaving with the best memories, millions of picture and happy hearts with a promise to be back again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Machaan. The hospitality was top-notch and the food was absolutely delicious. The property is beautifully maintained—clean, serene, and surrounded by nature—which made our stay both pleasant and memorable.||A big shoutout to Gautam, who was extremely welcoming and attentive to every detail, ensuring guests felt cared for. Also, Sujith from the dining area offered exceptional service—always courteous and efficient.||We’re already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely recommend Machaan to our friends and family.|Next time, we plan to explore their Sakleshpur location!

Beautiful resort middle of coffee plantation and surrounded by trees which gives a calm feeling when you want to be in nature. Well kept rooms with AC . Excellent Service, and all the staff members are courteous. They don’t have TV in rooms and you don’t need one , WiFi connection is good enough but mobile connection is bad.

What an extraordinary resort this is—surrounded by trees, with the rarest of birds. We loved Gautam's nocturnal walk, where we got to watch spiders spinning webs and frogs lazing in wells. We also loved the 'nature walk' and the birding morning walk. Every moment felt like a gift. We were returned to ourselves. The safari is often spoken of as the highlight—and it is, in many ways, with elephants and deer and (if you're lucky) tigers—but what I'll remember most are the birds and the insects. The small beauties of this world.
