Uday Backwater Resort

The best part of the hotel is the location sitting right at the backwaters. The view is stunning from all rooms and the rooms itself are spacious. We stayed in the Lake view elite rooms which are the higher level while deluxe are the lower levels. Honestly the lower level felt closer to nature so you can save a few bucks there. The hospitality is spot on, staff is courteous.|Coming to the cons, the driveway to the resort itself is a disappointment, lead by extremely barrow single lanes doesn’t do justice to its luxury tag. The spa was something we were really looking upto but turned out a huge let down. The ambience of the spa is below average, the toilets were dirty, the music, the aroma was all poor quality. Overall I suggest please do not spend money on spa or massage here rather go to an individual centre around. |Lastly though the rooms were spacious and clean, the toilets need some work. A deep cleaning for starters and plumbing fix ups. The health faucet had absolutely no pressure which was a huge let down when it is tagged as a luxury resort.|The restaurant food was average again, there are good options in the city centre closeby. The boat ride by the hotel was pretty expensive compared to the local guys.|Overall visit the place just for it’s serene views and calming environment. It can definitely game up on other fronts.

We had a very comfortable one night stay. The staff here were very welcoming, polite and efficient. I wish to mention the name of security staff Santosh at the boat jetty, who went out of his way to assist us. The room was spacious and very well maintained. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The decorative outdoor lighting due to the festive season was one of the best I have seen!! A memorable stay indeed!!❤️❤️❤️

The property was nice with an excellent location. The staff was very friendly and the service was impeccable. The food was also good. The view from the rooms was excellent. However, the beds were very old and very creaky. The mattress spring had worn out. Couldn't sleep properly for the two nights I was there and the hotel staff did not change the bed despite repeated requests. This was the only downside. Light sleepers beware. The complementary kayaking was a nice experience. The spa treatments were lovely and rejuvenating. Overall, it was a decent stay at Uday Backwaters Alleppey

Visited resort for a day outing and had a wonderful time with my family. The food was delicious and the staff across all areas, from reception to the restaurant and security, were warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed a boat ride around the backwaters. The only downside was the limited shaded areas but overall it was a great day.

The resort is really nice. If you are coming with family it will be pleasure for them . Separate play area . All staff was very cooperative.food was also good. They serve both veg and non veg menu. Room size and view from the room is amazing.They also provide house boat and jet on chargeable basis.

The resort is fantastic for the families looking for a relaxing experience for a vacation. The major factor which influenced me was the level of service which each staff showcase throughout our stay in the resort. It's actually a top class feel to be treated with such a warmth and love. Right from the reception till the time you leave the hospitality you get is exemplary. The quality of the food is also nice with a nice ambience. Overall a great experience.

A Perfect Retreat Surrounded by Nature I recently stayed at this resort, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The stunning lake view from the property was breathtaking and set the tone for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the opportunity to explore the area by cycling, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the scenic beauty that surrounded us. The food was a delight—every meal was flavourful , fresh, and offered a wide variety of options that catered to different tastes. Equally impressive was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable, always with a smile. The pool villa resort is a great experience for couples, you enjoy privacy and comfort. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature while enjoying top-notch service and delicious cuisine. I will definitely be returning!

Stayed with my family for 2 nights. The resort is very well maintained and the backwater views are amazing. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was very attentive and took care of all our needs (for both my elderly parents and my 2 yr old kid). We enjoyed the food as well. Highly recommended!!
