Satin Sand Beach Resort

Great location & beautiful view of the beach. Towels were consistently stocked and room kept clean. Wonderful Hut food at the Breezes & grill. No complaints at all, We stayed here for two nights in mid-April and had a very good experience. The resort is centrally located and is close to some of the major attractions - Good location - private, secluded beach - Awesome open space, lots of greens, Beach nearby - Rooms are reasonably comfortable and you get a pleasant view of the lawn from almost every room. - good free breakfast buffet

Awesome resort to rest or have fun . Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and all in working condition.Resort was very good and on perfect location. Resort was well maintained. Beach was very clean. Food in the resort was good with lots of options. An excellent choice as it is a really good place to chill out. We really enjoyed sitting on our verandah at sunrise and sunset

On arrival, first impressions are not great. gates don't fully open, and looks a bit over grown. Rooms are like small houses with 2 rooms and a bathroom. the first room had no furniture, so what is it for? the bed had the usual hard mattress and pillow, but does the job. small verandah area to sit on the most comfortable plastic chairs I have experienced - a real surprise.||||Although the rooms are not the best, the location makes up for it. just cross a small track onto the beach. spent most of our 5 days on the beach. it is very steep, often with big waves, so could be dangerous, but really enjoyed this.||||All meals are included, and Mustaf cooked a variety of dishes. some were better than others. We also made a few suggestions for breakfast, and he obliged. Almost anything is available, but you need to ask. there is no kind of menu. Beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee all there, but not offered. tea, coffee and water included, other drinks are extra.||||Rooms were not cleaned in 6 days, so we borrowed a broom to sweep the sand out, but again, maybe we should have asked.||||Mustaf did a great job for us, but the owner could make it so much better with a little bit of work.

Resort has an excellent Location, Beach and near by areas are quite scenic, Resort is small but very Homely environment. Mustafa Uncle is Very Nice person and his hosting is excellent , all other staff was also very good and courteous. we will surely go back soon.

Stayed there in first week of Oct, 2015. It's a very simple place, don't expect much luxury. It costs 3000, a night (food included). Host and staff members are good, and caring. Food is good. They prepare, what you ask, which is good. ||The beauty of this place is access to beach, which in just in front of the property. It's a small and clean beach, which is ideal if you are looking for a relaxation holiday. Don't expect any beach rest chairs and music or parties happening on that beach. We used to carry chairs from the stay and used to enjoy evening at beach. It's more or less, like a private beach.|||||||||||The beauty about this place is it's location.

I booked two rooms two months back for 4 adults and 4 kids. Owner was kind enough to allow booking just for a day (I had booked other place for more days), while most insists for two days minimum. Location is fantastic, just 50 meters from the beach. No beach view due to bushes and trees. Rooms are reasonably clean and have shower/wash area in common place as well. Good thing ends here!||||Even after transferring booking amount and sending two emails and SMS they never confirmed booking via email or SMS. Their computers are down (for 2+ months) and may be challenged with SMS. Every time I call, I'm told booking is confirmed. 10 days before travel when I called, I was told that booking is confirmed for 31st Dec. On calling on 29th Dec, I'm told my booking was for Dec 28th and I didn't turn up, but was told we can come on 31st Dec. On arrival, we are told that my booking was for 28th (even when I showed SMS and email) and others are not vacating (his property!) so he can give one room and offered to clean the room where they stay for us to use! We had no choice and didn't like the room where they stay so we requested to allow us to stay in the "living area" of the room that we have got and place extra mattress. We were charged 5000 for the room and additional for the food.||||Bathrooms are not clean as we found cockroaches and spider (> 1 inch!). Not that I'm afraid of, but shows the level of cleanliness! Towels are used up and worn out. Mattresses and bed sheets are ok. But, not up to the standard for what I was charged.||||There is no landscaping or kids play area, not many trees and shadow for you to spend time outside rooms during the day.||||Common dining area makes you wait for others to vacate the space. Variety of cutlery and dishes makes you wonder if you are in a resort! Plastic tea cups from "Nikshan Electronics", broken chairs and stools completes the story.||||This is NO resort by any means, but just rooms. I would have given 3 stars if I was charged 2000 INR and not 5000 INR. Expectations are based on how much I'm charged. I moved to adjacent resort, The Malabar Beach, next day, where I paid the similar price but EXCELLENT facilities and services.

Ideal for a weekend getaway. Mustafa is extremely cordial and makes you feel at home. Quiet resort by the beach for a good family time. Ideal for bachelors and small families looking for peaceful and homely stay away from home. The night eerie with good amount of privacy from other resorts and families.

It was 15th August and most of the resorts were full and then came the savior.n Boy what a HOST.As it was unplanned we 4 got the only room left without AC..At the first sight I was worried by looking at the room as I was the one who chose this resort. The room looks a bit old but is spacious and airy. The food was excellent. Whatever we ordered for came right away and that was served HOT. It would be a crime if I dont mention the name Mr. Jaheer, He prepared so delicious and tasty snacks and dinners and heeded to our request with a smile on his face all the time. It is one of the few beaches in India which has been spared the horror. Clean and serene, We jus LOVED the stay. Hats Off to you Mr Jaheer. Way to Go!!!
