A well maintained house with 4 four bed rooms with attached bath room. Actually it is like "Nalukettu". It an old modal house. We can feel the ambiance of 80's / 90's house with wooden roof. Pool is little small but, it's fine. Pool Water was neet and clean. The house having wide area with lot of trees, horticulture and variety of shrubs. Area is filled with red type sand. A separate open kitchen with gas connection and grill spot available near to the pool, which was awesome. Many kitchen accessories are available at kitchen. Finally care taker brother was very friendly and solve our requirements as requested. Overall 5/5

We recently visited Aalmaram for a team outing. The place is just awesome. Traditional model building for stays that, too, within a huge property gives you immense privacy. This property includes facilities such as Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and parking facilities, and they provide extra beds if required. There are 4 rooms, and all are well maintained. The pool is the main attraction here, which is neatly maintained with a patio. They ensure to provide great service with a reasonable price.

The traditional architecture, with its signature central courtyard and wooden pillars, offered an authentic glimpse into Kerala’s cultural heritage. Yet, the modern comforts were seamlessly integrated, making it a perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday. The main attraction was undoubtedly the stunning pool, which provided a serene space for lounging. The open kitchen and dining area next to the pool were a unique feature, perfect for family meals or group gatherings. The patio, with its airy design and vibrant DJ lights, added a festive touch during the evenings, creating the ideal spot for entertainment and relaxation. The homestay itself had a warm and welcoming ambiance, blending old-world charm with contemporary luxuries. The combination of the traditional naalukettu layout and modern amenities made our stay both peaceful and fun. Highly recommended for those who want a taste of Kerala’s rich heritage with a touch of modern luxury! It was only 1.4 km from Kovalam Poovar highway and they also provided complimentary breakfast.

**Wonderful Stay at AALMARAM by Kizhakeyil** I recently stayed at A by K and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring that I had everything I needed. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The homestay has a cozy, homely atmosphere, yet offers all the luxuries you would expect from a premium stay. The highlight for me was the beautiful pool and the relaxing patio – perfect spots to unwind after a day of exploring. The added barbecue pit made for great evening get-togethers under the stars. The location was ideal – close to the local attractions like Balaramapuram weaver’s street, Kuzhipallam botanical garden , kovalam , Azhimala Shiva temple etc.but still tucked away in a peaceful setting, offering the best of both worlds. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh and tasty options. The attention to detail and the personal touch in every aspect of the stay truly made it special. I would highly recommend Aalmaram by Kizhakeyil to anyone looking for a luxurious yet homely getaway. I will definitely be returning on my next visit with friends for a pool party.
