Country Club Kovalam Beach

The place is very calm and soothing. My stay was very nice and I really enjoyed it here. The location has direct access to beach which was a plus point for us. The kitchen service is very nice and taste was very good. Bivin was very friendly and made sure that our food service is excellent. I am really thankful that I did not faced any food issues here. Suggestion for any traveller is to contact directly at the country club number before reaching to the location for any map guidance. You may get confused by google. I had an early flight and the staff arranged airport transfer for me at 3:00 AM. Thank you for everyone from the country club team!

Our experience at this place was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We visited as a group and were left unattended for over half an hour with no idea of what was happening. When I asked a staff member (a bearded guy in a red t-shirt), he seemed indifferent and ignored us. After a long wait, we were offered a different room than the one initially agreed upon. Only after arguing did they finally provide a suitable alternative. The food was the only positive aspect—it tasted good despite having limited options. However, the property itself was underwhelming. They claim it’s recently renovated, but it’s just a mix of a few new rooms and old buildings with new paint. There’s no proper seating area to relax, the swings had no seats (only chains), there were no extra chairs, and they didn’t even provide cold water or ice cubes. The kids' pool was okay, but the main pool was unhygienic, with bird droppings all over the water. To top it off, the road leading to the property is extremely narrow. If another vehicle comes from the opposite direction, it’s a major hassle. Think carefully before visiting this place I wouldn’t recommend it.

We recently stayed at the Country Club property in Thiruvananthapuram and had a pleasant experience. The rooms are affordable, spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with fresh linen and spotless restrooms. The property offers great amenities, including a lovely swimming pool, which is perfect for a relaxing dip. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast spread at their restaurant, and the room service was prompt and efficient. The staff were courteous and made sure all our needs were met. The property is just about 2 kilometers from the beach, which is a nice bonus. Though the approach road is a bit narrow, it’s easily accessible by car, and there’s sufficient parking space available. Overall, a comfortable stay and great value for money.

Walkable to the beach. Rooms are big and spacious and clean. Food and breakfast was super yummy. All the staff are extremely hospitable. Special thanks to Anand and Yogesh at reception for making our Kovalam stay memorable.

Very average rooms.. Lacks maintenance.. Basic amenities.. Location is a bit tricky to approach.. Narrow road.. Spacious parking area but full of waste and dirty at raining times.. The food was nice.. And it was a speedy delivery to the room as well..
