Sagara Beach Resort

Our family stayed at this property for two nights and we truly had a memorable stay! The property is in a wonderful location, is maintained well and is having a very caring and helpful staff! We are particularly pleased with the care and support received from the Operations Manager Mr. Immanuel during and after our stay! We had left my son's pet toy in the room. Though we contacted only after 5 days of checking out, Mr. Immanuel arranged to courier back the toy!

Fantastic Family Getaway at Hotel Sagara Beach Resort! Our stay at Hotel Sagara Beach Resort was absolutely delightful! The stunning beach view made every moment special, and the resort’s family-friendly atmosphere kept both kids and adults happy. The staff’s warm hospitality, clean and spacious rooms, and the soothing sound of the waves made it a perfect vacation spot. For North Indian travelers, this place is a dream come true if you love the beach. We can’t wait to visit again! Highly recommended!

This is a decent hotel right opposite to the beach. Though it's very near from the beach all rooms may not have a beach view. Some portion of the building is quite old and the rooms are not very upgraded. The AC and other gadgets appear to be very old style in the rooms. The rooms are very clean and toilets are also fresh. The staff in the hotel is quite friendly and the hotel has ample parking space. This hotel has a restaurant which is even though big enough, falls short due to the number of rooms in the hotel. Surprisingly the hotel serves more of north Indian food and very less of local food. So Kerala food lovers may have to lookout for a different place for their lunch and dinner. This is a good hotel but will definitely not be my first choice if I visit kovalam once again. Excellent experience! Breathtaking views from the resort, great hospitality (thanks to Mr. Immanuel for the wheelchair-friendly room), room cleanliness, tasty food, and a well-maintained pool. Plus, it's just a short walk to the beach – highly recommend!

There were four couples who stayed at this hotel over 2 - 4 day period. We ready many of the negative comments. We are pleased to say all our experiences from the staff, food, rooms, beach access, and pools were very positive. There are many that complain for no real or menial reasons. Ignore these. ||Our rooms were all spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The bed was large and comfortable and filtered water available with two bottles in the room plus the ability to easily refill. The bathroom was small but comfortable enough to use. Improvement: clean the grout around the sink. ||The breakfast was plentiful with good Indian coffee and masala tea. Best part: dosa, masala dosa, omelette, or masala omelette available upon request. The dosas are excellent. ||The staff were accommodating, friendly, and always ready with a smile.

We recently stayed here. The rooms were spacious and clean and toilets were clean too. We had booked balcony room and it was not cleaned well. The room is old but enough space to keep your things. Big negative about this property is, the rooms were far away from the reception where you happen to change two lift to reach your room. But easy access through stairs. Not for elders. They have Restaurant food was decent and tasty but i find it bit expensive. Please check your bed mattress as it might be very old and they don’t even bother to change it after repeated reminders. Two night we couldn’t sleep. Other wise it is good bit expensive for the room.

We just visited the property to see it, saw their rooms as well. The sunset view is priceless there. Rooms are not the luxury vibe, but for those of who you like that kind of architecture go ahead. And I don't know about their services, so no comments there. Also they have w pools

Stayed for 2 nights at the the end of an Intrepid Travel South India Tour.|Public areas are good. Rooms and bathrooms are very tired but clean. Room had good veranda with views over the nice pool/terrace area and sea. Friendly helpful staff.|Buffet breakfast was okay but a little chaotic taking ages waiting for items to be replenished. Had dinner served outside on the terrace with my group one night which was very good.|It's well situated with views over the sea and an easy walk to the beach with a large selection of restaurants, shops etc. |On the whole enjoyed my stay but 2 nights were enough here for me.
