Orion Seaview Beach Hotel

Remains our favourite accommodation at Kovalam Beach. The room was excellent, and staff went to every effort to ensure our comfort. Certainly, the key hook of this hotel is it's location right on the beach front. The balconies overlook the beach and boardwalk - wonderful place to sit through the morning and into the evening, watching the fishing boat lights and lighthouse beams.||Just watch out for those slippery marble tiled stairs with wet feet.

Very pleasant stay in Orion. Nicely located at Kovalam beach. Owner also helpedful. He didn't charge us for our late check out. High fives.

Hotel is next to Light house beach. View from open balcony is just breath-taking. Rooms are spacious, well-equipped and clean.

The Orion is excellently placed re the beach. We stayed in one of the AC rooms facing the beach with a great balcony. I suspect the AC rooms are the most desirable. With the fan and AC temperature, control was perfect. The beds were suitable, although being foam mattresses they suffer from depression - little one can do about that, as foam is the standard mattress type unless in a high-end accommodation. Nonetheless, sleep quality was very good - quiet and reasonable light blockage.||We had a fridge, which is important if staying for longer periods. The bathroom suffers from the same problem afflicting 90% of Indian bathrooms where the shower floods the whole floor, but that is manageable, and not much one can do about it anyway.||Restaurants are everywhere, and close, so there's no problems there. Staff are eager to help with any requests, and the owner is always helpful. Be careful on the steps as the flooring is marble-tile which can be extremely slippery when wet, and it's hard to tell if they are wet. ||The in-house-wifi is suitable, although being hotel-open with easy password, I recommend using a VPN for security.||When arriving, get the taxi to the lighthouse beach end, and contact the hotel to help with bag carrying.||In all, highly recommended and we would be happy to stay there again.

Rooms or good but 27th April 2024 day review is v v v bade night full power cut .... no generated no any other power supply pls update your hotel to all time power supply.... This night is very bad 😞😞😞 No sleep .... No enjoyment..... Am very Sade so say tq

This hotel is nicely located I spend 2 day here with my family and the owner is so humble and helpful .There is no Room service even u have to arrange drinking water for yourself . They arrange early morning shared taxi to airport for me at reasonable fare. Its sea facing room have balcony were u can see the beach and even from your room lighthouse is visible. Its location gives u a special views and touch with beach.
