Ventara Resort Thekkady - best resorts in thekkady, mountain view resort

I went along with my friends to this resort as we were looking for a unique experience. This resort really made our day as the ambience and surroundings were very good. There were lot of plantations & trees within the resort and we got to taste fresh mango juice as well plucked directly from the tree. Obviously the resort staff helped us out. The food was awesome and they even arranged us a Campfire without any charge.. There is an excellent view point just walkable distance from the resort. All the rooms were neat and clean and these people are ready to help you anytime.. Will surely visit again!!

We were on our honeymoon stay at resort. very amazing place to stay. separate cottage makes u feel special. Staff is super friendly and very nice. Special Thanks and all 5 star ratings to the chef Mr. Joshy who pours heart out in your food and would make sure you r full till your throat. Ambience and the facilities are real cool. Loved it so much... a must visit place....

Resort has been taken over by some new group and it is only 5 months after this happened. We stayed for a day only in this resort. But felt like we could have stayed more. They do care of you and attend you personally. Full of trees and plants. They have their own spice plantation. Food is good. And cost is very nominal. Best value for cost resort overall.

This resort is really good in terms of stay. I stayed here for 1 day and please find some pros and cons.||||Pros:||1. Lush greenery with good view||2. Good food||3. Children friendly||4. 24 hours hot water supply as Geyser is there but very small (only 3/5 liters)||5. Electric kettle with tea/coffee availability||6. Good rooms with ample space||7. Managers and hotel staff continuously asking if there was any issue, so that they can help you||||Cons:||1. Highway to resort road is narrow and steep.||2. Situated little far from from town, so local market is not easily accessible.||3. Mobile network works not so good.||4. WIFI signals at room was not that good as no boosters available, only router was there.||5. Dinner availability only till 9:30 PM. ||||||Overall this is good resort and can be recommended for short stay.

Very excellent resort with good ambience.. its surrounded with coffee, pepper and lot of plantations.. Resort staffs are very good and helpful and will go beyind their limit to cater our needs. Got to know from the resort manager that this resort has recently been taken over by a huge group who runs the show right now and that they have many hotels in Kerala.. Kudos to the entire group and hope that the maintain the same standards....

After Munnar, this was our resort in Tekkady. We stayed here for 1 day. Wish we could have spent more days here.. This is really well maintained resort with lots of spice's trees within the resort. Really thankful to the entire team who made us very special. Food was really good and tasty. We had to leave for Periyar boat ride early next morning, so on our request they prepared breakfast at 6.00 AM. Cottage was big with bed, sofa, chairs, tv table, big bathroom. We enjoyed our stay here and would like to thank whole ventara resort team!!!

It's very good experience in Ventara Resort wonderful location,Rooms were clean.staff were courteous.Resort is quite clean and fresh.great hospitality and delicious food nice ambience and excellent service made our day.breathtaking view of Nature.Family outing or just a place to relax and forget about the outside then visit here.||Best place to have your vacation with family and friends.nature walk was really amazing. Iam very happy that I got more value then the money spent.And it's a recommended Resort.

We stayed there for 2 nights one of the resort where I have experienced best hospitality ever. Every single staff member there was amazing. Each one of them were so polite and helpful. Food was delicious. We really enjoyed a tour. Thanks Ventara team.
