Purity @ Lake Vembanad

Purity is the most amazing and magical place. The hotel is stunning in every way. The lake is as spiritual and tranquil as you could ever wish for. The food is an incredible culinary experience. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond. And we were lucky enough to meet Arya who is an exceptional member of purities team. Mary and Sarath are also incredibly helpful and have a wonderful source of knowledge of the area. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Beautiful location on the lake in a relaxing and peaceful setting. Staff are very friendly and attentive particularly Aria the main waitress. The food was excellent and the chef very friendly and willing to adapt some of the dishes if necessary. Rooms are large and stylishly decorated. The only slight criticism would be that the treatment rooms are fairly basic. We had a fantastic and very relaxing stay.

With lawns stretching across green private gardens to the shore of Lake Vembanad, this extraordinary calming oasis is very special indeed. We arrived after 2 weeks of travelling from Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Cochin and Munnar through the humid tropical streets of Kerala, and entered what could almost be a modern take on a Roman Villa. The central courtyard is built around a large central water feature, where the covered open corridors are actually the open air dining area of the restaurant. The villa is decorated throughout with traditional and contemporary sculptures, paintings and traditional art, and the rooms are cleverly designed and furnished with space, views, and everything expected in such 'lush' surroundings. ||But, the BEST part of this place, the most outstanding feature is the STAFF. All are attentive, gentle, enthusiastic and helpful. In our case, our 3 days here were perfect because of the service received. Mary greeted us when we arrived, and from that point every moment and every meal was attended by the lovely Arya and her colleagues Suresh and Vishnu. And finally, the food was just some of the best we have eaten here produced by Chef Sahal and his dedicated kitchen. Thank you everyone. Richard and Becky B.

It was a wonderful experience as a solo traveler. Chef Sahal was exceptional. He would cook very healthy , yet tasty food. One day before he would ask me what i would like to eat . Food was catered to my needs . Mary and sharad are ever smiling and very sensitive to every one need. Its a homely atmosphere. Each and every staff is very polite, smiling and efficient. |Massages were very nice too .

After a very busy 11 days in South India we arrived for 3 days.|Our intention was to just relax.|We never left the confines of the hotel.|We availed of the complimentary yoga.|Had a wonderful ayurveda massage and enjoyed the pool, garden and the food.|The hotel was very quiet so we were pampered by the various staff members.|Cannot remember all the names but Arya was really great and always looked so elegant in her sari.|The hotel is somewhat isolated, this was not a problem for us. The hotel can arrange car or boat trips.|Just wanted to mention that the hotel does not have an alcohol licence. |The staff helpfully bought us some Kingfisher from a local store but you are only allowed consume it in your room.|We had a wonderful stay.|5 stars.|Highly recommended.

You turn off a busy road and enter a world of tranquility. The setting on the lake is gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had a wonderful 3 days with longtime friends. Leave time to relax and chill out by the pool and lake.

My solo stay at the Purity hotel at Lake Vembanad was delightful! The food was incredibly tasty, the staff was warm and attentive, and the massage was absolutely amazing. It was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience! Hope to come back soon!

Wonderful location by Lake Vembanad lovely garden. The staff are most charming and helpful and the food was delicious. Would thoroughly recommend this delightful place. Also wonderful yoga classes. We saw kingfishers outside our lovely room .
