Set in the middle of the forest, the location is beautiful. The rooms could get some improvement and refurbishing. Coffee only instant, tea bags in the place that's a destination for the tea plantations, no heating, no insect mesh on the balcony door etc. However, natural beauty of the setting makes up for all of that. The food at restaurant is very good and not overly expensive. Be aware there's no alcohol served. Overall, good value and would recommend to stay there.

My recent stay at The Tall Trees in Munnar was a delightful experience! This location is a paradise for anyone looking to escape into isolation surrounded by lush greenery. One of the standout features of this property is the layout of the cottages. They are spaced out nicely, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility that I greatly appreciated. The staff at The Tall Trees were incredibly polite and attentive, going out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Their hospitality deserves a perfect 10/10! During our stay, we indulged in a spa treatment. While I would rate the overall spa experience a 7/10, the traditional steam process was undoubtedly the highlight. It added a nice touch of relaxation to our trip. It's important to note that the location is about 5-6 kilometers from the nearest market, so I recommend bringing all your essentials with you before arriving. This ensures you have everything you need for a hassle-free stay. Overall, I highly recommend The Tall Trees for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature. It’s a beautiful place with exceptional hospitality, making it well worth a visit!

The resort, the staff and the nature transports you to a different universe. We stayed for 2 nights and we didn’t wanna leave the place. The rooms are placed perfectly to make you feel like you are all alone in the wilderness. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Kudos to Raajesh, who took us on the trek and gave so much insights on nature and taught our how living in harmony with nature is the way. Thank you tall tree for making our stay memorable. Must visit for anyone looking to blend in with the nature

The Tall Trees is an amazing resort among the beautiful landscape of the Western Ghats. Really everyone from the staff, from the reception to the restaurant, is attentive and works their hardest to provide you with an amazing experience. The property is build among the trees growing in the mountains and interestingly it feels like it is “part of the nature” here. The restaurant is excellent, every meal we had here was very delicious and the seating feels like you are in the canopies of the trees. Everything is well maintained and very clean. The houses might be due for some modernization, but we absolutely recommend the Tall Trees

The food is excellent and the ambience of the restaurant is superb. A unique experience is the Self Trek to explore the nature within the Resort. The Resort gives experience of living with nature, amidst nature.

Clean property. Clean rooms. Great location. Good food. We stayed for just one night but the staff was still very welcoming. Next time we are in Munnar we’d absolutely come back to this property and stay longer. It’s a great choice for people who want to be immersed in nature with access to creature comfort. We joined one of the morning hike activities offered by the hotel for free and were very impressed with our guide Ragish.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer and resort manager who managed all things very well. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the the tall trees and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Our stay at the resort was just for one day one night. It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed it well. We enjoyed the tea plantation trekking, special thanks to Rajeesh who guide us well. We are thankful to the staff and WGH management team for the wonderful moments.

This resort is absolutely beautiful. It's completely nestled in the woods and there are beautiful views everywhere. Lots of lovely walks and treks are right on the property. The "tree houses" are very spacious and comfortable. The food was also great and the staff are really helpful. They even have a free high tea where you can learn about teas and do tea tasting. There's a great game room, library and all weather pool. It's really hard for me to describe how peaceful it was to be so immersed in nature - but that was the best part. Shout out to the staff and excellent manager...my daughter got quite sick one night during our stay (bad asthma attack). The manager sent a staff person to get the medicine we needed from the local hospital late at night. They really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and good.
