Heartland Munnar

Well maintained property with decent amenities for families. Good food with great level of hospitality from all their staffs. Spacious rooms with pleasing views on to the valley. Overall it was an enjoyable and relaxing vacation at (Aveda mountain and mist) Can't forget to mention All the housekeeping and restaurant members for buffet breakfasts and promptly response and evening complementary tea and snacks. We enjoyed burnfire for 2 nights upon request and the climate is good last but not the least the infinity pool was awesome. @Jeni Joseph: Thank you for your hospitality and friendly manner for all our needs. Note: excluding buffet Breakfast (which is included in Room) food for lunch and dinner menu is not at all pocket friendly it's dam costly and can't effort a tourist or a family ( one single roti is cost around 158 rupee)

We stayed in a family villa for 3 nights. The villa comes with two bed rooms with a common sitting area. It was quite clean and nicely maintained. The resort looks amazing and has a spectacular garden area. The food was good but there are only limited options. They take huge time for food preparation when the resort is almost occupied, may be because cook are less. We had an amazing stay.

So we were here for two night and there is no restaurant available at all. Once they said chef is not available and then on second call they said in kitchen they have pest control. I mean I don’t feel any of it my problem as I paid for everything and without dinner staying in lovely location is useless. Unfortunately they just arrange second day dinner from some another restaurant and food was not good and I felt so bad for all this thing. And they charge me 1750 for some stain on bedsheets which is scam for sure as it’s easy to remove in dry cleaning but they just want money. Super scammer.

Heartland provides a comfortable and cozy stay. Located atop a hill, with a beautiful view of the valleys, it offers all the luxuries and comforts you need on a vacation. The food is really top notch and the chef will customise to your taste. The facilities are clean and top notch. Kudos to the housekeeping and support staff for providing excellent service. Rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and clean sheets. Wifi and smart TVs included for some nice entertainment. Great stay, great experience. 10/10 would visit again and recommend.

Giving 5 stars because they helped me out for last minute booking, as The Lake View resort didn’t confirm the booking. Heartland - Good response at reception, he was very polite and helpful. Restaurant staff was very good and polite. I request breakfast early and they agreed ti it. Rooms are brand new, all are separate cottages. New property so restaurant is not fully open but more than enough menu to choose from. Breakfast was also good. I was hesitant booking this as I booked through phone and reviews looked fake, and property looked away from town, but there are houses around. It was good experience overall.

Toilets were blocked and flushing system was not working. Had been on a family trip and boked four 2BHK villas. I had asked them that we needed three villas with road facility as we had very elder people who had walking issues. They told that they have allotted us villas with road access. But, we were given only one villa with road access. We had a difficult time taking the elders to the other villas which were on a steep cliff, and had to be walked all the way. Interestingly, they had allocated the road-access villas to honeymoon couples who had no walking issues. The toilets of Villa 203 were completely clogged and blocked for the whole of our stay, and the mechanics were unable to correct it. The flushing system of villa 103 also was not working properly. When we complained about these issues, the reception staff were like " We cant do anything about it". Just imagine staying in a room where the toilet is blocked and clogged. All the rooms we booked did not have televisions. The only positives were the restaurant service and the housekeeping staff.

Awesome Place with Peaceful environment....Rooms are maintained in good quality and staff's behavior also top class...The best part among all was the food, its really tasty and hygienic. We were stayed in double room villa with two families. Two of our team was kidney transplanted and they were prepared and served separate food for us. Lot of expansion works are going on there and as I talked to the manager lot of entertainment activities are under planning stage especially for families. It was a nice experience.
