I stayed there for a night with family. Best thing about the place is the view. It's little off the main road but that's its beauty. Drive carefully when you ,the roads are steap. We Took the suite room . It was in the second floor .Front area is fully with glass. A common balcony provided for both rooms.felt like less privacy. It was raining when we reached there . We had to climb the outside stairs to scnd floor with a small baby holding umbrella. It was bit scary because of heavy rain and wind . We told this to manager and he gave permission to use stairs inside the resort. Only that time i knew there was also a stairs inside resort . Even with heavy rain ,staff made us to climb that stairs with a small baby ,. Becz of rain, Water was slushing in balcony . After sometimes water started to coming to room . Informed about this and they cleaned it. Property is very old , but these 2 suit rooms are new . Felt like , Not maintained well .Food was average. I would suggest this resort only to bachelors or friends . Not for the family . Not kids friendly. Only neat rooms i saw is these suite rooms. But its not safe for kids bcz of stairs . For a group of friends , its a nice option. View was amazing. And One thing about the pool I noticed is there was no filtering method inside it. So totally average experience.

Has good view, quite far from Munnar city but connected. Wifi is average. Food expensive.. stay cheap.. some rooms are good and some are average. Friendly service but don't expect early tea and later evening snacks. Just one small snack shop with lesser option. Has 4 tourist spot near by

This resort is a little far from Munnar main town, but the natural views were great. I enjoyed the location and outerskit. This is adjacent to Lakshmi tea estate, so in the morning you can have a nice walking as there won't be much crowd at all. You can only come by your own or book Vechile as there is no public transport connectivity. We enjoyed the resort location as our intent was there to live somewhere outside of the city's nose, and that's fulfilled our criteria. In the evening, there will be photogenic views within the resort itself. Overall, it's a good choice to enjoy the vacation with family.

Warning - i was not given the room I booked in advance. I saw this was reported by multiple people on trip advisor as well. Property - Very old, not clean , stained sheets, broken balcony sliding door. Shower head was missing and insects infested in toilet. Sharing images as well. I checked out the next day and took a place somewhere else. Food- The non veg items are good. The veg items aren't cooked well. Their breakfast quality is below average and I wouldn't recommend it even if it's free. Hospitality - The members at the property were good. Anil the manager, Manu and Aman the helpers were there to help if anything is required. Anil knows the place well and can guide if anything is required. Verdict - Wasn't a good experience for me. I had booked for two nights and after the first day itself we checked out. The MD Amal seemed only bothered about his money and took the money that the third party hire a camp took extra for the day i didn't stay from me. They weren't bothered about how dejected I was after not being provided the room I was promised by advance payment. Hope they improve their property.

Please don’t ever consider this wild elephant resort for your accommodation bookings!!! I have booked an accommodation on Dec 2022 by paying an advance amount of Rs.5000/- and I had to cancel it with prior notice due to my emergency situation. I have been chasing them for the refund for the past 2 months but they don’t at all pick my calls nor do they respond my emails. Highly unprofessional !!! Even though it is a peak season the resort professionals should have courtesy to pick my calls and listen to my cause that i have cancelled the booking but instead they avoid the calls and dont respond. I haven’t been informed about this before. Please don’t give any fake excuses by commenting to this review. Please don’t ever consider booking in this wild elephant resort in Munnar and suffer the unprofessionalism!!! Thankfully due to my emergency situation we didn’t had the chance to stay there else I would surely have faced unprofessionalism and a very worst hospitality!!

Calm and quiet resort with beautiful view of the flowing waterfalls (viripara waterfall), mountains, and tea gardens. Quality and taste of the food was average, And free complimentary breakfast was really tasty. Their staffs are so polite and are available to serve 24 hours. They are charging a reasonable price for rooms and food. Mr Anil is very supportive and cooperative. He guide us to experience the nearby place with details and time to visit each location. They don't have anything to entertain the kid's other than garden.
