We had a great experience here.. The caretaker was so helpful, he took care of everything. They also took us to Vishnu temple. we celebrated our anniversary there, the decoration was awesome. Highly recommended one❤️🙌

Visited in Mid-April 2024 with 3 family totaling 12 people and 4 babies. The rooms and accommodation facilities including kitchen were perfect. Highly recommend for families if booking the main full 3 floors together. There are 2 tent type setups outside if need to be more private and secluded. The served food was fine. There were too many outsiders coming to the ground floor where there is kitchen which we didn't like as the total 3 floors were actually meant to be ours until the check-out time and for that reason I reduce 1 star. #The sound of water fall nearby is worth to be enjoyed at night.

Great experience in this property. Service provided was top notch by their team. The view from property is superb. Each room has a mountain facing balcony. Done camp fire, grills, music at night. Home made Food prepared by them as per need. Food was delicious. Property was very neat. Can recommend for both family and friends.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Kalyani Retreat in Rajakkaad during our Kodaikanal-Munnar trip with a group of 32 students and faculty, and it was an incredible experience. The hotel truly felt like a home away from home. The staff treated us like family and were exceptionally friendly throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the delicious food they prepared for us. It's not every day you come across a place that offers such mouthwatering meals. The positive vibes of the place added to the overall enjoyment of our stay, and even on rainy day, they managed to bring happiness to us. Although there were some inconveniences regarding the campfire and DJ, it didn't affect our joy. We spent our evenings watching movies, playing music, and dancing with friends, making the most of our time. The view from the balcony, featuring picturesque mountain, waterfall and lush greenery, was breathtaking. The hotel went above and beyond by arranging a morning trip to a hidden gem of a waterfall in a jeep. The serenity of the waterfall in the morning was a truly magical experience. Additionally, they guided us to Swargam Mala and were there for us throughout our treaking in Rajakkaad. I can't express enough gratitude to the staff of Hotel Kalyani Retreat for giving us such memorable days and for their warm and welcoming behavior. They truly made our trip even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and hospitable retreat in the Rajakkaad area.

Location is pretty good , however it is 20km away from city. It's worth staying here. The ambience is good . Scenary from the hotel is too good. Service is nice. Food is homemade and tasty. Owner is kind and helpful, very accomodative. We(family of four) stayed here from 29th - 31st may. I strongly suggest this place. Most of the tourist destinations are pretty near from this hotel.

The location is too good it’s near a waterfall and surrounded by forests with sound of pure nature. Food is like home food and service is very good with personal touch.

Best stay for family and bachelor's groups out of munnar town but with beautiful waterfall and hill views. The climate is very chilling, calm and quiet. The owner is very supportive. Rooms and the entire property are well maintained.

This 5 star rating is for the dedication of the Owner of this property Mr Sajeevan, the way in which he is nurturing this property as a home to his guests with excellent service and personal connection. We had a memorable vacation as a family. The rooms and the facilities are good. The view from the homestay is born to chase sunsets in the picturesque mountains.
