Hidden Haven Munnar

The resort is inside deep forest, reachable only on a 4*4 jeep made for extreme off road, as the property is situated off road 2 kms. People who love to stay off tar roads would love this location. They also have a private waterfall. Mr.Sathish, who we should reach out to for booking was receptive and reasonable. The service from caretaker Mr.Anthony is appreciable. The food was good. Overall my friends loved the stay.

A perfect place to stay with family or friends Rooms are also neat and so good. Not to mention Antony who single-handedly performs all the roles of manager, staff, cook etc… Their approach to guests attracts us to visit again and again I doubt if there is any other resort that is so close to nature and can get this rate. A waterfall in the resort compound makes this resort so attractive

Hidden Haven is a budget accommodation for nature lovers.. Amazing Off road driving to the cottage is the SOP The cottage is situated around 2km inside the forest from Munnar - Lakshmi - Mankulam Road and 15 KM from Munnar Town. You stay in a cottage in the middle of the forest which is an experience in itself.. Wild animals do visit the place especially in the night. What i liked about the place is the location - a lonely cottage in the middle of Lakshmi estate forest. All you will hear is the tune of spring flows near the cottage, birds chirping, frogs croaking and the sound of insects (which became really loud at night). This area is totally out of mobile network visibility except BSNL connection, however the broadband wifi network facility is available here. Food was decent (not extraordinary) Loved the experience of having dinner in a dark dark forest with the sound of insects as the background music. They do camp fire and jeep safari to the nearby areas. Ideal place for a total hide out from your day today busy life, gathering for a small family group.
