Riverok Villas

I recently stayed at Riverok Villas in Athirappally, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and so close to the waterfalls. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were polite and attentive, and the villa was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. I’d love to visit again!

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. Hygiene: The hotel lacked even the most basic standards of cleanliness. The room was filthy, with visible dust and stains on the furniture and bed linens. The bathroom was worse, with mold in the corners, a foul odor, and a dirty sink. Customer Service: The staff was indifferent and unprofessional. Upon check-in, the receptionist seemed uninterested and barely acknowledged my presence. Calls to the front desk went unanswered multiple times. It felt as though the hotel simply didn't care about its guests. Overall Experience: The lack of hygiene and customer service completely ruined the stay. The management appears to have no regard for basic hospitality standards, let alone creating a welcoming environment. This was, by far, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

very unpleasant experience at this resort. The food was not delivered on time, causing unnecessary delays and frustration. Adding to the disappointment, the manager was completely irresponsible and showed no interest in addressing concerns. Another major issue is that the resort lacks basic safety measures, with no visible efforts to ensure a secure environment for guests. Overall, I would not recommend this resort. It fails to provide a comfortable or reliable experience.

The manager was completely irresponsible—food was not delivered on time, and they didn’t even bother answering our calls when we tried to follow up. There was no coordination with the chef either. The safety measures were non-existent. Open corridors and doors were left unsecured at night, with no security in place. To add to the disappointment, they provided a used sample soap package, and there were frequent electricity cuts. Full amount was collected from us 2 weeks prior and we have done it eventhough most of these staycation center's collect advance amounts. So we expected a better service from them. The only redeeming factor was the supporting staff, who were helpful and polite. However, overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Think twice before opting for it. ---

Disappointing Stay: Poor Management and Hospitality Unfortunately, our experience at this villa was extremely subpar. The manager's unprofessional demeanor and lack of attention to detail made our stay uncomfortable. We faced significant delays in food service, despite being told dinner would be served starting at 6 pm. Our requested dinner time of 7:30 pm was pushed back to 8 pm and ultimately arrived at 8:30 pm. Furthermore, the villa lacked basic safety measures, and the provided toiletries were used. These oversights are unacceptable for any establishment. The only redeeming aspect was the supportive staff, who did their best to accommodate our needs. Overall, we would not recommend this villa due to its poor management, hospitality, and safety concerns.

The atmosphere is pleasant, and the rooms are clean. However, the staff's behavior is disappointing, making it unsafe for girls. Additionally, the food service is significantly delayed.

Our stay was very disappointing. The place felt unsafe, and the area where food was served had poor hygiene. Food service was terrible—it took hours to get our meals, and snacks ordered in the afternoon arrived very late. Many guests were left waiting with no nearby alternatives. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
