The property has lots of space and loacted next to the beach. Has lots of place to roam around and chill out. It might be a place to spend time with a day package.|However, it's not worth to stay there overnight for the price they charge. I faced the following issues|1. Electricity was very frequently switching on and off which lead to destroying my laptop (which already had a battery issue so i had to keep it plugged in as i was working).|2. The Landlines weren't working and thus i wasn't able to contact housekeeping, restaurant or the reception. They gave as alternate mobile numbers. However, it doesn't always work due to range issues.|3. Restaurant food quality was mediocre and the staffs really doesn't care.|4. Uber Taxis aren't allowed inside the compound as the Resort seems to have some tie up with the Taxi unions. I had to spend around 2500rs on taxi instead of 750rs on Uber.|5. You have to be on the look out for crows and squirrels while having food at the restaurant.

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is spread across a large area and is surrounded by a freshwater lake. To reach the beach, which is across the lake, you need to take a boat ride. The beach area is quite deep, making the water inaccessible due to the sea’s depth. The taste of the food at the hotel was very good. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, although the breakfast could have had more variety. Unfortunately, the chairs in the restaurant were very dirty and spotted with bird droppings. We were upgraded from a garden view room to a sea view room for a small fee. The upgraded room had a great view of the swimming pool, lake, and sea. I think the upgrade was worthwhile. The room was large and well-furnished, with complimentary snacks and drinks. The hotel service could definitely improve. Our request for towels and water in the evening was completely ignored. We also requested room cleaning when we went out the next day, but it was not attended to. We had to get the room cleaned after we returned in the evening. Additionally, the in-room dining service was slow. We used the swimming pool as well; the pool water did not feel neutral and it made the mouth and teeth sour. We wanted to check out early and received help with our luggage at 6 in the morning. However, the checkout process was slow, and the clerk at the desk seemed half asleep. There are two approach roads to the hotel. The shorter one is very narrow and steep, which made me uncomfortable driving my car there. However, it would be fine for smaller cars. The other approach road is slightly longer but wider and easier to drive through.

The ambiance is serene, and the swimming pools are large, making it a great place for a peaceful stay. The property itself is beautiful, with fresh air and a calm atmosphere, ideal for relaxing strolls and unwinding. However, the service quality could use some improvement. While the reception team was welcoming and made a positive first impression, the overall service didn’t match the premium feel of the property. If the management focuses on enhancing the service experience, this could easily become one of the best properties in Kerala. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway to explore and relax in a beautiful setting, this is a great choice, but don’t expect top-tier service just yet.

A beautiful resort right in the heart of the island with serene views of sunset and beach. It will definitely give you a luxurious feel right from the entrance until your departure. We were so warmly welcomed with garlands and fresh juice at the entrance while waiting for check-in and our luggage was handled by them nicely. They have a very huge property and they have cute golf carts which will take you around the property, they're always just a call away. We were upgraded to their better rooms due to some ongoing construction around the rooms we booked very sweetly. With so many complimentary indoor and outdoor activities including free high tea and snacks during sunset. They also have semi-speed boats to take you to the beach in front of them which is just a small distance away which was complimentary to the stay. The rooms were lovely and so hygienic, the staff was very polite. The only drawback we saw was the food, i personally feel the number of options and their availability could be better as well as the taste of few dishes which we discussed with them. Apart from this we had the best time at this property, one can easily spend 2 days at this property and still crave for more. Thankyou for the beautiful experience!

We stayed for just one night on December 2024, having made our reservation through an online platform. The reviews we encountered were predominantly negative. Upon our arrival, the hotel informed us that our room was not ready, despite our arrival being one hour past the designated check-in time. After a wait, we were told the room was still being cleaned, and eventually, three rooms were provided instead of the four we had booked. We had to wait until 5:00 PM for the final room to be prepared, and when we attempted to use the bathroom, it was not adequately cleaned, which is unacceptable for a five-star establishment like Sarovar. The hotel's justification for these issues was an influx of guests and bookings. Additionally, we experienced problems with the room lock and requested assistance from the reception, along with towels and slippers. After a 15-minute wait with no response, we had to walk to the reception, which was quite a distance from our room. Eventually, the manager arrived and contacted staff to address the issues. Furthermore, the pool staff displayed unprofessional behavior by singing loudly in the presence of families, which detracted from our holiday experience. It is essential for the hotel to ensure that all staff members are properly trained to provide a higher standard of service to guests.

I took garden cottage, not worth for the price, but near room. Got a king or queen sized bed. Everything in the room is pretty good. TV is there, not a smart tv though. Food at the restaurant is slightly over priced, and being a vegetarian, couldn’t find much options but non veg, it’s there. Quantity to price is subjective. Restaurant had live music performances and in nice ambience. Bar is ₹₹₹. Additionally they billed extra charges to me mistakenly, then at settlement time I paid the bill without this being noticed. After that when I found the extra charge of 2500 for a white wine, I was asked to pay again the reduced price without giving a refund of first payment, and they told me I will receive it back after an hour or in 24 hours. For this mistake we asked for a discount and they give me 15 percent discount as well. Also they have a backwater ride, which you wil get outside for less amount than they do. Pool is nice. Nylon dress is mandatory.

They offer packages for office outings and we took one of the packages. Location is a bit tough to reach because of the narrow road. We were 20 people and got provided 2 rooms to rest and change. Buffet lunch was good but the options were less. Less variety and no juice just water. They deliver food and drinks to room but the service is very slow maybe because they had so many guests. They have out door games like cricket, badminton, basketball. Indoor games like Table tennis, carroms, chess, Snooker, ludo. Lots of space to walk and chill. They have 2 or 3 pools. They also offer a short boat trip to the nearby beach. They also have a bar. Service was slow, food was average other than that, it was good
