Shore Lux Beach Resort

The rooms were good and I've given 5 stars if we didn't get ambushed by a rat that jumped from the inside of the ac unit. Other than that it's a really good place with a superb balcony view.

Booked this hotel based on popular reviews and photos on the hotel website. As soon as I reached the hotel, I got a feeling of being cheated. There is no proper reception at which to check in. Entry to the rooms is via a back entrance staircase, which gives an eerie feeling. I had booked a 3 bed room. The room was spacious enough. That was the only silver lining. No amenities in the room. Towels were not provided. Blankets were just fleece blankets for a single person. No toiletries provided. No chair/couch to sit in the room. The service is even more appalling. No means to communicate with reception as no phone is available in the room. Requested for extra bed sheets and was not provided. Was provided a fleece runner in place of a blanket. On the whole, bad experience as service is pathetic.
