Hotel Thushara

I was a bit concerned about the low 4-star rating because I traveled with my child. However, after reading the reviews, I learned that this place is nice and has a great pool at an affordable rate. Once we arrived, I realized it was a hidden gem. Thanks to the entire team for their excellent service; it was really good. Please note, if you are not comfortable with the walkways mentioned in the other comments, you might want to skip this place. Otherwise, it's a great option.

The place has a calm and beautiful atmosphere. The food is good and cheaper than nearby restaurants. The pool is very clean, and they filter it every morning. The service is awesome!  Rooms are neat and clean

Very good budget hotel with a nice swimming pool and just a 2 minute short walk to the beach. The sir at the reception was very polite and helpful. Thank you

Nice location. We have to get down far from hotel then go from narrow lane but after informing hotel's manager about our arrival he has arranged their person to collect our luggage. So we didn't mind that. And it's really near from beach and restaurants. Polite and helpful staff, clean and peaceful rooms, and my son enjoy a lot in swimmimg pool.

My overall experience was good, just one issue that hotel pathway approx 400-500meter was so narrow in that only one person can walk and you have to drag your luggage from that narrow road to the hotel. They have well maintained swimming pool with timings from 9am to 7pm. Beach is nearby with 1-2 minutes walking distance.

I got there through a one meter passage.Just 70 meters away from the seaside but not facing the sea. This hotel is in between some hotels. The swimming pool is there. I felt like a decent atmosphere for families. And to be with friends. It is super affordable for foreigners rooms are not bad bathroom is good and clean rooms are like cottage

We knew that this hotel is 2 star so we were not expecting the Ritz .The location of this hotel and the staff is the key to its success. The hotel eatery is good, and a basic cheese with scrambled egg on toast is inexpensive and delicious. Along with all the menu, you have a cross section of Indian and European foods available at a cheap price on site . The occasional problem such as the fridge not working was sorted immediately. This place is special due to the staffs care of their guests.I had a couple of days where I wasn't well so food was delivered to our room at no extra charge .The english newspaper was available to read and the room had fresh sheets and towels every day .The air con was quiet, but the fan can be noisy .We moved rooms as the room had a new bathroom with a water leak but no hassle and even carried our bags next door .This hotel is basic ,it has tv british news ext ,a fridge but if I was them I would say buy new ones but at the price we paid they had a replacement .The big thing for us is if you need anything, it's done now and with a smile ,which we haven't got in a 5 star before today .The location is down an alleyway, which is strange for us but makes it quiet, and the sunsets are fantastic and less than 5 minutes away .If you want basic rooms with aircon,fridge,TV as well as the free Internet pay a little more for a upgrade here and the safety deposit box is free for all The staff are really helpful and the foods good so we will be back . The one thing I wasn't happy with was children in the pool totally alone, spashing as they couldn't swim .I was wondering where the parents were as this is clearly not allowed on the rules of the pool, and the staff are not always watching the pool .I saw a member of staff speaking to them and they left so it's not often .In conclusion we will be back as its feels safe and caring here

Very worst in rules. Very strict receptionist. No parking available. Walking distance is also too long. Food is good, but do not have much varieties. Nothing special in this hotel. Receptionist is not friendly.
